1The 525 yard par 5 is a true starting hole.A non demanding hole allows the golfer to get off to a good start to their round. Although, the longer hitters will have to manage their tee shot to avoid the pond.2Managing your tee shot is critical to set up a manageablepproach shot to an elevated two-tiered green.3An opportunistic tee shot for those who wish to cut the corner to set up an easier approachto a multi-tiered surface. Longer approach shots will face a sloped fairway(left to right) that will force the ball into the right greenside bunkers.4A true risk reward hole from all tee levelsTo reach the green in two, golfers must clear a large pond (290Yards) from Black Tees.A quick flowing creek and pond guards the front of the green and bailout area for the golfers approach shot.5A fairway that is guarded on the right side by bunkers and a large bunker on the left for those who wish to cut the corner, forces an accurate tee shot setting up an approach shot to an elevated green that has severe slope front and back.6Ranked the second easiest hole at Belle Haven, many would disagree when the pin in placed in the front left of the green.7Club management is once again key in attacking this hole. Setting yourself up for a manageable approach gives you a strong chance at birdieFor those who are long and left, the well placed "Beveridge" tree blocks a direct line to the flag.8Steve Danielson, Head Professional Emeritus says,"this is where the golf course truly starts. This hole begins a true advantage for the longer hitters the rest of the way".9The front 9 closes with a long par 3. With out of bounds down the length of the left side and a deepgreenside bunker on the right this hole truly intimidates golfers to produce an long accurate golf shot.10A par 3 elevated tee into a green with multiple breaks doesn't seem fair to start your back 9.But if successful, it can truly jump start your round.11A well placed drive on Hole 11 can set up one of themost enjoyable approach shots on the golf course.12The most penal hole on the golf course with trouble everywhereA creek runs along the entire left side of the hole and the green is guarded by a pond on its right and back side.13Golfers will use the Masonic Temple as a target line in hopes of reaching the fairway on this long par 4The left side of the fairway "power alley" can add extra yards to the drive if placed correctly.14Dogleg right forces golfers to move the ball off the tee.A false front green can fool golfers on their approach shots.15Club management is key to find the fairwayTwo large bunkers protect the direct route to a slightly elevated fairway. In order to get close to this holes pin placements, you'll need to have a short iron on your approach.16The last par 5 at Belle Haven. The hole has a narrow fairway bordered by waterto the left and a row of birdie ending pot bunkers to the right, respectively. In total this hole has 16 bunkers in play.17Although rated easiest on the course, this holes difficulty can fluctuate based on pin location. If the pin is placed back left, it is one of the hardest.18"Perhaps the signature hole with four beautiful dogleg bunkers, two deep greenside bunkers, false front, which will exasperate many players, and green with cup placements which alter the hole form day to day. The view from the tee is glorious" Golf Course Architect, Arthur Hills.
