Usually played into the wind, number two can typically be hit with a short-to-medium iron following a good 3No, it isn't Amen Corner, Hole 3 is the start of Kindergarten Corner here at BGC. As Jon Rant will tell you, a par at times could even feel like a bogey.4182 yards from the back tees; pretty straight forward par 3, right? Well don't say that to the homeowners on the left. That out of bounds creeps in rather quickly!5Look out for a new teeing area on this hole this season; we've combined the three small tee boxes to make one, giant area. Just like last year and the 4th tee box, we're hoping to 6A straight drive that can split the bunkers will make this hole easier, whereas a ball that finds one of the two sand traps will rarely result in a par.7Hope you made your birdies and pars leading already because the golf course starts now. The cell tower is a natural target on this hole, which should help you find this narrow gree8The number 1 handicap hole on the golf course; the 8th hole is no joke. 450 Yards? Check Dogleg? Ask around and a lot of people will say that this is the hardest hole on the entire course. Dead into the wind. Uphill. Over wa13The first par 5 of the course; 521 yards, generally into the wind with water looming down the left hand side. Birdies and Eagles can be found on this hole at well as Double and Tri14The wind should be opposite of the 12th hole by the time you get here but a back right pin will make this hole seem impossible. The deep bunker short and right of the green seems t15The 15th hole gives you a spectacular view of the Great South Bay. A morning round could have the bay looking like glass or you could even find some paddle boarders. Once the after16You're a long way from home once you step on the 16th tee box. 560 yards separate you from the next tee box, but if the wind is in your face it might feel like 600 yards. Even when17The 17th here at BGC is a signature Seth Raynor design. The mounding on this hole can be found throughout the world on other Seth Raynor designs. Deep bunkers surround the very lar18520 Yards until you're home. The 18th hole is a classic risk/reward hole.
