1Straight forward hole with either a driver over the tall trees leaving a short iron into the greenor play short of the ditch leaving a long iron into the green.2One of the toughest holes on the course.Anything from a mid iron to a wood off the tee, playing into a two tier green guarded by bunkers.3Short par 5 with out of bounds down the left.A high draw from the tee opens up the green for a long iron or wood to an inviting green with no bunkers.4Difficult dog-leg. A long drive to the corner allows a mid iron to the very large green.If you do not make the corner you will not get up in two. The Bunker on the right from the tee has been filled in and corner trees thinned to create more options for the golfer.5A good drive down the right half of the fairway leaves a long iron or a woodto the large green- the first ditch has now been filled in and the crossing extended.6With a slight left to right drive, leaves a long iron orwood into a narrow green guarded by a large tree on the right.7A good dog-leg left with a pond at the corner.A middle to long iron from the tee leaves a short iron to the narrow slightly raised green.In 2020 the Corner pond was moved nearer the tee to increase the landing area beyond. The right-hand bunker shown has been replaced by two greenside bunkers which now frame the app8Short hole with bunker guarding the right hand corner.Tricky green with large slope.9Good Tee shot leaves you the option to carry the three cross bunkers 100 yardsshort of the green for a guaranteed birdie if you can putt! The first and second ditches have now been significantly filled in.10Narrow drive which will be rewarded for reaching the green in two shotsWatch out for the ditch 50 yards short of the green! The right hand side of the first ditch has now been filled in.11Most difficult hole on the course- stroke index 1.A long iron aimed at the big tree on the left to a narrow gap protected by a large lake; long iron or wood to a raised green.12A tricky downhill par3 with pond on the rightand bunker short left.Difficult to stop the ball on the green.13Easy par 4 if you get your drive away, leaving short iron to the green.Greenside bunker (left) has been reshaped.14Straight par 4, no real trouble from the tee,but the green is protected by a large pond on the left, can be a tricky green!15Start of our Amen corner, out of bounds on the right, trees down the left.A good drive will leave a short iron to an upturned green difficult to hit.16Signature hole at Bentley. A downhill dog leg right, with out of bounds to the right.Ideal tee shot left to right which can leave a short iron to the green guarded by the lake,tall tree and bunkers to a very quick green if you're putting downhill.17This hole has undergone a major redesign over the winter 2011/12 involving rebuilding and enlargingthe green and refurbishing and adding two new approach bunkers. It remains a tricky hole with a contoured green well protected by bunkers and a swale. Middle to long iron required.18One of the hardest finishing holes in the county. Out of bounds to the right a bunker to catch poor drives and a big tree to the left of the fairway.A good drive will leave a long iron into the green or, if the wind is up, a fairway wood which might just get you there.A difficult sloping green makes a par feel like a birdie.
