1Begin your round at Cedarbrook with a soft dogleg right par 4.Bunkers guard each side of the fairway as well as the large mildly sloping green which offers a taste of what is to come.Pin placements on the left side of this green are particularly challenging.2A reachable par five for the longer hitter with the meandering Wissahickon Creek bordering the left side and wrapping around behind the hole.Fairway bunkers also line the left side of the fairway and the two-tiered green provides some interesting pin placements.3This difficult yard uphill par four plays most of the time into a prevailing breeze.Fairway bunkers capture errant tee shots and the green slopes severely from left to right and back to front making placement of the approach shot key to escaping with a good score 4A well-placed tee shot is a must here. This hole plays much tougher than its distance and "4" is always a good score here.A picturesque downhill par four with a plateau green well protected by a deep bunker on the right and a large pond on the left.5Errant tee shots right may find a deep dropoff and mistakes left leave an impossible chip or pitch to this difficult sloping green.This beautiful up hill par 3 plays much longer that its distance and is surrounded by mature woods.6This dogleg right par 5 can stretch to 565 yards and features an elevated tee shot.Multiple fairway bunkers guard the approach to a green which is protected by out of bounds left and water behind.7A tee shot toward the target bunker across the fairway leaves the player a great line to the green which falls off on both sides and behind.A solid par four dogleg left with extensive bunkering protecting the inside of the dogleg.8This demanding dogleg right par 4 is rated the toughest hole on the front nine.Mature woods and thick rough border the right side of the fairway.A front pin placement is well protected by sand and subtle sloping on the back of the green make back pin placements just as hard.9As with the first par 3, hole #5, keep your tee shot below the hole to help avoid an easy three-putt!Another decisively uphill par 3 that also plays into a prevailing wind, making club selection very challenging.10Start the back nine with this deceivingly difficult par five that demands an accurate tee shot.A severe drop off to the left towards the creek makes any shot visiting the area usually result in a big scoreWhile this hole is short for a par 5, the two-tiered green more than makes up for its lack of distance. Another true "risk/reward" hole for the longer hitter.11A mid length par 4 that demands a straight tee shot.The creek left and thick rough right combine with a well placed fairway bunker to make a layup tee shot a wise decision.A short to mid iron approach shot needs to be well placed on this sloping green.12The final par five at Cedarbrook has much that needs to be negotiated successfully.A fairway bunker left, deep woods right and two creeks crossing the fairway stare players down before they can even think of solving a severely sloped green.Avoid a miss to the right of the green for an additional headache!13The toughest par 3 at Cedarbrook by far! Two creeks cross between the tee and a pond to the right and behind the green provide the golfer with a great challenge.The elevated tee shot provides a breath-taking view of the golf course. Make 3 here and move on quickly!14Yes...move quickly to this soft dogleg right that is plenty of Par-4 for anyone! A blind downhill tee shot must finish short of the creek located 240 yards away, leaving the golferFront pin placements are well protected by two greenside bunkers on this hole rated toughest at Cedarbrook!15Hole #15 completes a very difficult stretch of four holes at Cedarbrook. This dogleg left rewards a nice right to left tee shot over a fairway bunker.But whatever the distance of your approach shot, it must be accurately played to the right side of this green, allowing the ball to negotiate a severe right to the left slope.16The putting surface slopes severely from right to left and drops off quickly in the front. For pin positions left, aim right and let your tee shot funnel down to the flag.For pin positions right, accept a severely uphill putt and don't risk short-siding yourself!The shortest par 3 on the course is none the less very challenging up at the green.17Another green that slopes significantly from left to right makes the approach shot another one to think about!You are entering the home stretch now. A straightaway par four with out of bounds left and well-placed fairway bunkers on both sides of the fairway, makes another accurate tee shot18Not the toughest hole on the course but surely one of the most beautiful! Your final tee shot on this par 4 must land avoid several fairway bunkers and one of the largest greens onAs you make that final put in the shadow of the clubhouse, you are left with the lasting memory of the wonderful golf course, which is Cedarbrook.
