1A good drive is required down the left hand side of the fairway avoiding the bunkers on the right to leave a mid to short iron into the green.2A strong opening par 3, with a large green surrounded by bunkers. A good medium to long iron needs to be up to the hole to avoid the perils of a three putt.3A solid drive over the crest of the hill opens up a genuine birdie opportunity.4Take a tilt with driver or three wood and the green is in reach, otherwise a long iron for position and then a good pitch should get you close to the pin.5Generally into wind, a driver is the key to a makeable second shot to a receptive green.67An iconic par 3, generally just a short iron aimed at the heart of the green. Too far right and with the wind off the left, you can be in trouble. Definitely not as easy as it look8A tough uphill tee shot with the prevailing wind from the left and9A good birdie chance, this is a relatively easy hole to finish the front nine.10An eight iron to the middle of the green avoiding the trap on the left. If you are in between clubs, always go for one less as you don't want to be long.
