123456A difficult 200yd par 3 played into the prevailing wind to an elevated green requiring a long iron or lofted wood. Miss the green and a dropped shot is on the cards. 7A tough par 4 with a bunker to the left side of the fairway catching the golfer's eye. Placing your drive to the right of this bunker will give a good line into the two tiered gree8This hole is short by modern standards and is one of Blackmoor's only two par 5's. However, a long tee shot to the left half of the fairway will give the opportunity to go for the 9A neat par 3 with a small well bunkered elevated green. Even if you hit the target the difficult subtle slopes can still catch you out. 10Probably the toughest driving hole on the course, out of bounds to the right this hole demands a long straight drive if you are to reach the green in two.11Another dogleg to the right. Play to the left side of the fairway to avoid the area of deep rough and a heather bank to the right. This will leave a mid iron to a deceptively slopi12Played over heather banks to an elevated green which runs off on all sides. Bunkers left and right will catch the errant shot on this the shortest of Blackmoors' par 3's. 13The longest hole on the course at just over 510 yards, the drive needs to be accurate to miss the strategically placed bunkers left and right. The slight dogleg means the 2nd shot 14From the tee this hole looks as though it should yield a birdie. However, a misguided tee shot to the right is likely to find the water hazard which is some 230 yards from the tee.15One of the most difficult par 3's in Hampshire. This well bunkered, elevated, upturned-saucer green provides a stern test. 16Yet another par 4 with a tight drive. Hitting the fairway is the first target as thick heather both left and right is penal. The 2nd shot requires accuracy to miss the front right 17Last of the par 3's played to an elevated green over thick heather. Oblique bunkers left and right call for an accurate tee shot. The heavily contoured green presents a difficult p18Blackmoor's signature hole and one of the best finishing holes in Hampshire.
