1A gentle start to the round, this still requires an accurate tee shot. If the green is out of range, a layup short and to the right of the green offers a simple chip to all pin pos2Hitting the fairway isn’t enough on this tricky par 4.3A well-bunkered par 3. If bunker play is not your speciality, then laying up short and to the right will avoid any high scores.4A tough tee shot that needs to be straight. The green slopes from front to back so playing to the front of the green leaves an easy uphill putt.5A tee shot across the corner is only for the highly skilled or brave. The safest option is a tee shot to the marker post and a longer second shot to the green.6A relatively short par 4 that requires a straight drive and care on the approach as it has the most difficult green on the course.7The first par 5 and a great birdie chance. A lay up to the stream must not be too close to the water to avoid getting blocked out by the trees.8Another par 5 and with numerous fairway bunkers to be avoided. A second shot to the right side of the bunkers offers the most room for error.9It is wise to check the pin position when walking down the 1st fairway as the difference between a short and long flag position can be as much as three clubs.10A drive down the left side of the fairway gives the best angle into this long par 4 and avoids being blocked out by the trees on the right.11A narrow green requires an accurate approach, with a bunker on the right and out of bounds on the left. A short approach shot will be safe and offer a simple chip onto the green.12A very long par 3 that some may struggle to reach. The ball tends to bounce to the right so aiming to the left will help to counter this.13A relatively short par 4, with no trouble over the back of the green14A very testing par 4 that needs a straight tee shot.15A tee shot too far to the left will be punished, so the right side of the green is the best target line.16Extremely long par 4 with water short and right of the green. 17Homeward bound. The left side of the fairway is the target on this par 4.18For those that struggle to hit long drives, a layup to the water is recommended and will still offer the opportunity to close the round with a satisfying score.
