1Try to favour the left half of the fairway on this tricky start hole.2A good test usually into the prevailing wind. No prizes for overshooting this green as the out of bounds is very close to the back edge.3A downhill par 3 with a smallish green.4Going back up the hill making this hole play a lot longer than the previous 3rd hole. Look where the pin is on the 4th when you walk to the 3rd tee because there is about 4 clubs d5A good tee shot down the right side of the fairway will hopefully be near the lone tree and will give you a chance of clearing the stream with your second shot.6Another hole that suits a draw from the tee, with the fairway sloping right to left.7A testing tee shot back into the wind.8Risk or reward for the longer hitters who will usually try to fly the stream across the fairway. 9A good hole with fairway bunkers and a ditch down the right hand side that can catch a slice.10Downhill par 3 similar to the 3rd. Once again the centre of the green is the smart play. Miss the green to the right or left and you will have a tricky chip over the bank to the sl11Never an easy hole, with a good drive you may be able to reach the green in two, but a five is not a bad score on this long par 4.12Ideally played with a draw off the fairway bunker to leave you in the middle of the fairway.13A classic sucker punch hole. Play it sensibly with an iron towards the bunker, leaving a shot into a very long green make sure you use enough club for your second shot.14Signature hole for the course. A demanding par 3 with trees on both sides and ponds to the left and rear of the green.15Another dog-leg from left to right with trouble waiting on either side for the wayward drive. A fairway wood or long iron up to the 150yd mark is the play here, leaving a slightly 16A demanding par 5 requiring an accurate tee shot to allow you a chance to get near the green in two shots.17Tough par 4 into the wind with a stream to catch the pushed tee shot and out of bounds down the left.18A really strong finishing hole over water with your second shot. Once again it’s a lay up off the tee with a long iron or fairway wood, to leave you short of the pond
