After a clear lay up, you will be left with a mid-length shot to the green.4This par 5 may be reachable with two solid shots and offers a nice birdie opportunity. The tee shot must be left of the large oak in the middle of the fairway and far enough to get by the dog-leg. A straight drive can run through the fairway into trees and a drive toIf you plan to go for this green in two, you will need to carry a fairway bunker which is strategically placed about 15 yards short of the green.5This straight away par 4 is “what you see, is what you get”. The fairway is tree lined on both sides, but a straight drive leaves a mid to short iron into the green.Short is better than long, as the out of bounds is just beyond the green.6This is one of the toughest driving holes on the course. With out of bounds right and a pond on the left, an accurate tee shot is required.Anything more than slight fade will find one of the two fairway bunkers or out of bounds. The right side is guarded by in-course out of bounds as it borders the practice facility.8This lengthy par three is quite demanding. Both length and accuracy are needed for this tee shotShort of this green is not a bad spot to be and leaves you with a nice pitch up to the green. Trees to the left of the tee box leave no room for a fadeThe second shot plays downhill to the green with a nice view of the clubhouse and Lake Decatur in the background.10This straight away short par 4 offers a great birdie opportunity. The tee shot can be played with anything from a driver to mid iron.Longer hitters have a chance to drive the green. Favor the left side as fairway bunkers and out of bounds guard the right.11This hole requires an accurate tee shot with out of bounds on the right and trees that guard the left side of the fairway.Playing from the fairway will make the second shot, which is over a pond to an elevated green, play much easier.Keep the ball below the hole as this green is severely sloped from back to front.12This par 3 may be short in yardage, but hitting the green is key.
