1This par four starting hole is a fun one to play with bunkerson the left and right of the fairway.This is not a real long hole but it does require accuracy to get your round started the right way. New forward tee boxes were added in 2016.2This hole plays longer than it seems as it runs uphill towards the historic Granddad’s Bluff. This hole is a par 4.3This short hole requires a great tee shot to hit this small,rolling green. This hole is a par 3 for men and a par 4 for women.4With woods on the left of this dog leg right, a great tee shot is required for those looking to shoot below par. The hole is a par 4.5This par 4 will challenge any golfer off the tee withbunkers on both sides of the fairway.6The green on the only par 5 on the front nine will invite any golfer. Be careful, however; it is protected by three bunkers.7Located directly beneath Granddad’s Bluff, this par 3 is forgiving for those that hit slightly left.8With the green hidden behind afairway wide ridge built up behind a sand trap 250 yards from the tee box, distance control is key. This hole is a par 4.9Running along the railroad tracks this hole will test the nerves of those hitting as trains rumble past. This hole is a par 4.10The first hole of the back nine turns back towards the coulee andlong green with a false front will make for a good challenge. This hole is a par 3.11A great drive is required to stay out of the trees on the left and away from a drop off on the right. This hole is a par 4.12This hole runs along one of Hixon Forest’s main trails and ends witha distinct two level green, which is guarded by bunkers on the left and the right. This hole is a par 5.13The new 13th hole is tucked away deep into the coulee and requires a great deal of finesse to play to theonly green on the course not protected by a greenside bunker. This hole is a par 4.14The new 14th hole is a par 4 with room for error to the right, but faces heavy trees on the left.15This updated par 5 might tempt big hitters to go for it, but remains a challenge for any golfer with the improved length.An accurate second/third shot is required to avoid the water and bunker that guard the front left of the green.16Shooting to an elevatedgreen, this shot is one of the most difficult on the course. This hole is a par 3.17The location of this tee box allows for another unique view over some of the previous holes played. This hole is a par 4.18The final hole is a 286 yard, par 4 that stays on the East side of the tracks. Hole 18 is one of the newly redesigned holes that adds a little more challenge to the course.
