1The opening hole is a downhill medium length par 4.The straight away drive must avoid bunkers that guard both sides of the fairway.2Short par 4 over a large waste bunker to an elevated and exposed green. While length is not necessary off the tee, the second shot demands precision to place a shot on the small elevated green.3The lengthy Par 5 runs due south and can play directly into or down-wind.A creek splits the fairway in two and fronts the elevated and exposedgreen The 3rd hole offers a true risk reward for a long drive off the tee.4A bunker-less Par 3that with a narrow and undulating green. Club selection is key to par this hole.5Medium length par 4 that requires a well played drive tohit this fairway that gently slopes to the right.A quartering wind and a well positioned fairway bunker make this hole a challenge from the tee.6A medium length Par 5 with a forced carry over a pond off the tee.The tee shot and undulating green that was modeled after the road hole of St. Andrews is a hole that looks fairly easy but plays very hard.7A longer par 4 back into the summer southbreeze with a well guarded green by water. Trajectory is key on the second to this green that will certainly test your shot making skill.8Short par 4 that meanders slightly to the rightThe second shot to this green must be well placed with a green canted fromleft to right and water guards the back and right of the green.9The signature par 3 hole of Gaillardia. Known as the shortest Par 5 in Oklahoma from the back tee at 245.The 9th plays over water and is a test of a shotbecause of the quartering wind from the south west that forces a player to bail out more than necessary to avoid the water.10A long par 4 featuring a pretty elevated tee shot down the hill. The second shot is to an uphill and elevatedgreen that is guarded by water left and a large bunker to the right. A par on this hole is well done any day.11Shorter par 4 requiring a well played tee shotwith a fairway running alongside a large waste bunkerThe green has a small swale on the left side protecting many of the hole locations on this large green.12Uphill and slight dogleg right par 4 over water. The fairway has several large bunkers forcing the tee shot to be played to the left side of the fairway.Bunkers protect this canted green and the angled green is a challenge even without any wind.13Picturesque par 3 over water. This peninsula green slopes from back to front and the wind plays havoc with iron shots over the water.14Long downhill par 5 that may be reachable for the long hitter.Beware of the fairway bunkers on the left as they swallow up drives that challenge the shot cut to the green.15Long Par 3 that plays downwind much of the time and slopes away from the player. This green requires a high shot to land and stay on the putting surface.16Long, long and uphill Par 4 which doglegs left around a native area.Tee shots are played uphill and into the wind making this the most difficult par 4 on the course.17Short par 4 that has large fairway bunkers right and trees in the left rough making this a challenging tee shot.Placing the drive in the fairway is a must for a par.Long hitters may have a medium iron to wedge to this sloping green that is set between two trees.18Reachable Par 5 with a creek running parallelright of the fairway and collects into a pond that fronts and rests alongside the green. A well played drive gives the chance for reaching the green in two,but an undulating green protects par even for those that can get around the green in two shots.
