1This is a challenging opening hole dissected by a babbling brook which catches out the big hitters and even some second shots!The green is situated in a dip beyond a rise. One to plan your way through.2This is a long dog leg right from a raised tee, with trees lined to the left and aplantation to be navigated on the right before opening up to a raised green protected by a flowing burn to the front edge.3This is a great par 5 although not over long in distance it has many natural hazards to catch the unwary.Tee shots need to carry to the top of the hill or face run off to the right. In summer with dry fairways the larger hitters get a chance to go for the green with their second shots4This is a great par 3 that can make or break any round. As in the name this hole is all about carry. Hit the ball straight and true and you will get there. Anything other leaves yo5This is a relatively straight forward dog leg right. However, a ditch dissects and protects the top half ofthe fairway and catches many a misplaced or miss hit drive. The bottom has half of the fairway has a pronounced ridge that can be run over. Lay-up and you have a full shot in6This is the most challenging hole on the course with tree lined fairways and out of bounds over the wall to the left.The ground slops away left to right to the trees so driving needs to be accurate. The green sits on a rise in the far corned and must be accurately accessed as a burn is at the bac7This is the signature hole of Langholm Golf Course. As in the name on a good day you have unrivalled views of the Lakeland fells in the distance from a raised box tee.This hole is a relatively short par 4. The fairway drops away to the bottom of the course. Many an iron is used for position and let gravity take the ball down to the bottom of theThe approach second shot is relatively straight forward however there is a deep syke (ravine) in front of the green to catch the unwary and out of bounds to the rear to catch the o8This is a long par 4 with rolling fairway requiring two good shots to approach this green nestled in the trees.The fairway is again dissected by a burn however this generally does not come in to play or does it!9This is a par 3 designed to replicate a hole on the Kings course at Gleneagles.This is a test of accuracy. However the two tiered green is protected by three greedy bunkers and steep slopes that can help or hinder your path to the green. It is a full shot to
