1Make sure you fill your cooler at Dora's casita, then enjoy the beautiful par 5 opening hole.Drive it over, under or through the tree on the right side of the fairway.Layup to 125 yards, then play enough club into the center of the green. The approach shot plays longer than you think.2If playing from the blue tee, drive the ball over the stone yardage marker near the white teeFrom the white tee, play a 175-yard shot to set up a short shot over water to the green.3Drive the ball up the left side of the fairway;the green is downhill and guarded by a bunker on the left.4A beautiful par 3 playing downhill and down prevailing wind.Plays half a club to a club less than the yardage. The center of the green is a good play.5Drive it just right of the tree on the left side of the fairway.Generally, a short shot into this undulated green works best. Play to the side of the green the flag stick is on.6Drive it straight at the telephone pole through the fairwayThere’s a slight dogleg left with a green that slopes severely back to front.7This dogleg left requires a drive to the middle of the fairway.Play to 125 yards out. The green is very deep and slightly uphill so consider your approach shot carefully.8This par 3 is long, over water and generally into the wind.Take enough club and play to the center of the green. Par is a great score here.9This par 5 takes you back to Dora's Casita. Steer clear of the bunker on the right off the tee. Layup to 125 yards short of the green and left of the oak tree on the rightThe third shot over water plays slightly uphill and into the breeze. The green is tiered so pay attention to the hole location when making your club selection.10This beautiful little par 3 requires a precise yardage. It plays downwind but over water so be wise.11This dogleg-left par 5 is a 3-shotter for most but a 2-shotter for some.Bite off as much as you want off the tee. Favor the righthand side on the way into the green and you will have a chance for par or better.12This par 4 requires a drive to 125 yardsfrom the green and no more: there is a creek down there! The second shot is downwind but you cannot be long. Center of the green is prudent.13Whatever club you can hit best to the middle of the fairway,hit that club. The approach shot is slightly uphill to an undulated green. Bogey is OK and par is great here14A really tight hole.Squeeze a long iron or hybrid up the right side to set up a 125-yard approach. The green is fairly flat so be patient and you’ll have a chance at par or better.15Bombs away. This straight par 4 iswide open the farther you go down the fairway.Pick the right club to approach because the green is tiered, and you want to be on the proper level. Another chance at a low number.16The last par 5. Keep your drive up the left side.If your felling saucy, hit a fairway metal past the tree in the fairway.A conservative 2nd will be right of the tree. The tricky approach should favor the left side of the green. Par is a good score here.17This par 5 requires a drive up the center or left side for the best approach to the greenThe green is undulated so try to land the approach shot to set up an uphill putt.18You made it, but this par 3 will keep your attention just a bit longer.Shots carry to a large green. The wind swirls around the Clubhouse in the foreground so pay attention to club selection. Short of the green is not the way to end the day. Hit the g
