1Hole 1 is the toughest hole on the front side.A good drive placed down the left center of the fairway offersthe best route onto an elevated green. If the pin is tucked into one of the corners, aim for the center. Par is a good score.2Hole 2 fairway gently slopes downhill laying out the entire hole in a panoramic view;however, it is absolutely devilish! Your tee shot must be center of the fairway with a lake guarding the left side.Your second shot is all uphill as the green narrows toward the back. Par on this hole will take 4 of your best shots.3Hole 3 is the first of the par 3’s on the front side. Don’t let the short length fool you.This hole provides a challenging tee shot over water to anelevated green with bunkers guarding both sides of the green. A long tee shot can put you in a very demanding position to get up and down for par.4Hole 4 is the shortest of all the par 4’s at Miamiview.The fairway slopes right to left; it is also the narrowest hole.This uphill hole can be a challenge if you spray your tee shot. Center and long can set you up for a good birdie. Be careful with pin location. The green is shaped like a horse sad5Hole 5 is the first of the par 5’s at Miamiview.The 5th is also the shortest of all the 5’s. A slight dog leg left downhill tee shot should favor the center.Your second shot can be a blind lay-up for your third or for the bigh itters, bust it after the green clears. Three good shots will reward you with a possible birdie.6Hole 6 according the Cincinnati Golf Association is the toughest (number 6) hole in the Cincinnati region.This newly designed hole is all carry over a valley to a well guarded green. Two deep bunkers on the left of the green and grass mounds on the right makes this a difficult par for 7Hole 7 is all uphill from the tee to the back of the green.A very narrow fairway gives this hole its difficulty. Try to stay to the left center of the fairway to give you a clear shot on your approach.The green is one of the flattest at Miamiview – but don’t let this fool you. Birdie is very possible here.8Hole 8 is one of the most thought provoking holes designed at Miamiview.Absolute concentration and a fair assessment of your abilities is a must here.Remember, your approach into this two-tiered green plays shorter than it really appears. Walking away with 4 is a great score.9Hole 9 is the first real breather on the front side.Don’t be fooled into a false sense of security and let your drive slip to far right. You may well walk away with a high score if your approach shot isn’t on in two.10Hole 10 plays to one of the most difficult holes on the back side.The farther your drive carries down the fairway without reaching the water,the more you will be left with a short wedge to an elevated green. Driving accuracy is critical because the fairway bends left past the 150 marker then narrows to water. This hole 11Hole 11 is the shortest of all the par 3’s at Miamiview.Club selection can be difficult with a downhill approach and swirling winds.Don’t relax too much, however, or else you can find yourself all wet. Don’t take this narrow and tricky putting surface too lightly either.12Hole 12 you’ll need perfect driving position down the left side of the fairway.Before teeing off, however, for the safety of the group in front of you, you will need to wait for the sound of the bell before hitting. Spray the ball left or right and you’ll f13Hole 13 is considered a slight breather on the back nine.A gentle draw is encouraged off the tee. With trees bordering your left and right side, the fairway is one of the widest on the course.Be careful of the bunkers protecting the left and right side of this massive green…the largest at Miamiview.14Hole 14 is truly a unique hole.A gentle fade is encouraged off the tee and one must hug the left side in order to provide the best possible angle tothe green. All uphill on your approach, but be careful; pin placement is critical to your success.15Hole 15 is one of the straightest long par 4’s on the course.The fairway is crowned and hitting the center becomes the challenge.A good drive offers the best route into one of the most accessible greens on the course. If the pin is located on the right, aim to the middle of the green.16Hole 16 is lined with trees on the right side with a fairwaysloping to the left. Balls hit to the right side of the fairway will be awarded with a perfect placement in the center. The two-tiered green slopes the opposite of the fairway goin17Hole 17 is a very intimidating long par 3with one of the deepest greens at Miamiview.
