1“Forswiftit” is a 385 yard par 4. Uphill all the way, it can be a tough opening to your round.Bunkers to the left from off the front of the green can catch your ball if it comes up short. A large green slopes from back to front.2“Neebra” The 2nd hole is a 224 yard par 3. Avoid getting too close to the wall as it is “play as you lie” f5““St. Peter’s Well” This downhill 201 yard par 3 where it is better to be short than long.Bunkers guard the front right and left of the green that slopes from front to back.6“Forvie” The 6th is back up the hill with a slight dogleg at the top of the hole. Be sure to take note of the pin position when on the 5th tee as this will help you pick the ri7““Funs Gap” Laying up short of the bunkers is the play from the lower tee at this short par 4,leaving a full shot into the green. 278 yards from the lower tee offers a “risk and reward” option from the tee. The hole measure 382 from the back tees.8““Puddock’s Pond” The 317 yard 8th hole takes you up a steep hill towards the green.It is important to ensure you take enough club for your second to get up onto the green as anything short will come back down the hill.9“Corf House” The play from the tee, at the par 5 9th, is to aim at the Fisherman’s shed. Don’t be too greedy with your second shot as trouble lurks to the left and right of10““Gallows Hill” The 339 yard 10th Hole looks straightforward fromthe tee but keep your tee shot up the right hand side of the hole for an easier approach to the green. The green, itself, is not and easy read. A good start to the back 9.11“Pavilion” A drive over the pole is the perfect play at the 11th hole.On the approach you should land your ball short of the green an run up towards the flag.12“Home” It is essential to find the fairway from the tee at the 12th. Ranked the hardest hole on the course you need to be careful with your approach as anything left is as good13“Majuba” The short par 4 13th should still be approached with care.A tee shot short of the pole gives the best view of the green. The green itself can be tricky to hold as it slopes off to the left.14“Prince Charlie” Aim left of the pole off the 14th tee as plenty of danger lies on the right.The approach shot needs to fly all the way to the green as your ball could stay short if it lands short.15“Boathouse” The 15th is a short par 4 but you are better left of this hole than right.The Approach shot has to be up as a soft landing and you won’t make the green.16“Short” The 16th is the shortest hole on the course but it still needs to be treated with respect. The beach lies to the left and a big bunker on the right awaits a loose effor17“Billows Lime” The right hand side of the fairway is the place to be at the 17th. As far right you dare…This will give you a good angle into the green. Be careful on approach, a shot landing before the green will be the best play.18“Springbok” A great finishing hole which can ruin the best of scorecards.Avoid the bunkers from the tee and keep the second shot short of the hazard. Always take a club more than you think on approach to the green.
