1A gentle uphill hole to start which requires a good solid tee shot to be able to see the flag clearly for your approach.Take a little more club for your second to ensure you find the heart of the long, subtly contoured green.2The easiest hole on the course…when the flag is on the lower tier..and one of the most difficult when the flag is at the back.Play to the heart of the well bunkered, undulating green and look for a safe two putt par. Don’t be too greedy with the tee shot!3A great testing par 4. A solid drive down the left half is required to give yourself a chance to reach the green in two and avoid the bunker short right of the green which has been4A straight tee shot is needed to avoid the copses of trees either side of the fairway.The second shot requires good distance control to either lay up or hit it over the three fairway bunkers designed to catch any daring shots going for the green in two.The two tier green, sloping from front to back will require good distance control on your approach shot to avoid a tricky two putt.5Plays the longest of our par 5 holes on the golf course. A wide landing area from the tee but then requires carefully positioned shots all the way up the hole.The second shot requires good course management to avoid the bunker in the middle of the fairway 165 yards from the green and the bunkers either side of the fairway 130 yards from 6A testing par 3 where a shot short is better than anywhere else. With the green sloping from back to front a simple chip or putt up the green will be easier than the tricky bunkers7From the back tees a drive favouring the left hand side will give you a nice angle for a lay up shot. Avoid going too far right because the trees can block you out making it a toug8The hardest par 3 on the course. With the green getting a lot narrower the further you go up the sensible shot is to play to the front of the green or just short leaving an up hillMissing the green pin high leaves you either in a bunker or with a tricky chip on an elevated but narrow green.9A 220 yard tee shot will give you full view of the green below that slopes quite severely from back to front.Anything above the pin will leave a tough two putt so if you can - leave it short, but not too short as there is a big slope in front of the green which your ball can roll back dow10A slight dog leg from right to left with trees hugging the right hand side of the fairway and the Llwyni Wood coming into play at 170 yards from the green, position is key.Once on the fairway the shot into the green is fairly straight forward. There is a bunker protecting the right hand entrance to the green but once over that a good short game can s12A straight forward par 5 but the lay up shot is essential. Depending on your drive you can either take on the second mound to leave you a shot where you can see the pin or lay up iThe green is well protected with a large bunker short and right and a little pot bunker on the left. On the green itself there are numerous ridges and humps which can make putting Placing your ball on the right side of the green will give you the easiest opportunity of two putting.13A good drive essential for a chance of making par on this the hardest par four on the course. Anything left or right of the fairway can leave you blocked out on your second shot.Don’t be scared to land your ball short here as there is a large slope which will help your ball onto the green. When you reach the green pay attention to the subtle slopes that 14A narrow green protected by many bunkers leaves pressure on the tee shot. The green slopes severely from back to front so short of the pin is always the best play on this hole.15You can't attack this hole with your tee shot so use the natural slope. Hit your tee shot down the right hand side of the fairway and allow the ball to go down the slope naturally.Your second shot should be a confident, crisply struck iron to the centre of the green.16The swirling wind around the tee can cause costly indecision. Be sure of the wind and aim at your target appropriately. A confident swing is required to get the ball on this well-g17Drive to the right hand side of the fairway to open up the green for your second shot. The fairway and green slopes severely from right to left from 100 yards and in so aim your approach shot slightly to the right and let the natural slope move the ball nicely into t18A chance to open your shoulders and hit a big drive. Your best line is down the right side, especially the approach shot.With the green sloping from front to back land the ball slightly short and let the ball feed down towards the hole.
