1This medium length Par 4 opening hole demands an accurate tee shot.Avoid the deep fairway bunkers down the right side to set up a demanding second shot.A solid tee shot will leave a short approach to this well-protected green.2The first of the five challenging par 3's at Nicklaus North, this hole requires a good mid to long-iron shot to get the ball onto this large green. A large pond and bunker surrounds the right side of this challenging hole.3This long par 5 gives you plenty of room off the tee, but you're hitting into prevailing winds.Watch out for the fairway bunkers. On your second shot, water and large bunkers down the left-hand side make the right side the ideal lay-up. An accurate approach is needed to this large, shallow green.4Big tee shots drawn over the edge of the bunker(280 yard carry) allow for a lofted club into this tough green.5A long fading shot to the right side of the fairway, away from the water, leave comfortable mid to short-iron to the protected green.6Riding the prevailing left to right wind, 5 or 6-iron shots will leave a birdie putt.Pros will favor the right side of the green, careful to stay out of the deep bunker on the left.7The driver comes out if the player is comfortable hitting a half-wedge to a well-guarded green.8Reachable in two with a long iron, but into the wind even big hitters find the opening to the green very narrow.9Drives down the right hand side inviteaggressive wedge shots into this receptive green.10As pin placements depend on the wind,4 and 5-irons will either be cut or drawn into the pin.11Booming drives arrive beside the bunkers on the right side, setting up a long iron in…but only if there is no head wind.12Into the wind, this long carry over water will require all of a 4 or 5-iron, or a 7 with the wind.13The open left side is the target with a driver toset up a drawn long iron or fairway wood.14Drawing if off the bunker on the right, long ball hitters take it into 9-iron and wedge territory for a green that holds well.15Fitting tee shots between the two fairwaybunkers, long hitters set up for 7 or 8-iron approach.16Long irons or fairway woods off the tee -drivers can reach rough or even water - leave a demanding 9-iron or wedge shot.17Even with muscular 4 and 5-irons it is difficult to get close on a hole that sees a lot of chipping and sand shots.18Trouble left and right demands power and precisionthat will still leave a challenging mid-iron to a small green.
