1A fun starting hole, the first hole provides a generous landing area downhill from the teesThe approach to the green is surrounded by trees and protected on the right by a deep bunker.2This long, rolling tee-lined par 5 demands will executed tee and approach shots to score wellwhere the fairway begins uphill to a well contoured green. The hole plays downhill tees to a point 150 yards short of the green,3The view of the surrounding hills from the tee is outstanding.a dramatic downhill tee shot where the winds can make club slection difficult. This mid-length par 3 is heavily bunkered on the left and around the back.4This slight uphill hole features framing on the right by a high wall cliff and on the left by a series of bunkers. No surprises on hole four. All of the prO-Blems on the hole are laid out before you, as seen from the elevated tees.5Uphill all the way from the start, this slight dogleg left par four tee sheet must be placed between bunkers on either side of the landing area. From there, the golfer is confronted with a long-iron approach shot to a strongly contoured green bunkered on the front right.6The first of two "driveable" par fours in the round and all downhill, the sixth invited players to hit their best drive. The hole is not without its dangers however,as the green is strongly bunkered on the left and the small green slopes quickly to the left.7Teeing from a ridge top across a small ravine to a wide landing area sets up one of the most challenging approach shots of the round.A large, deep bunker right of the greeon on a steep side slope must be avoided and the narrow green slopes toward the back right, accelerating the overly aggressive mid-iron approach.8A beatiful green setting with large rock outcroppingsstately trees and rambling streams is the lasting impression that strikes players' minds. From the elevated tees across a natural rock slope to a narrow green, this par three is sure to be remembered.9The slowly ascending fairway of this long dogleg left is distinguished by some of the largest pine and oak trees on the course. With no fairway bunkers, the challange is to play the long-iron approach to the large green cut into the hillside and protected on the front left by several small bunkers.10Panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valleys from the tee make this the shortest of the par fives, an exhiliarting experience. From the rolling mulit-bunkered landing area, a decision must be made on how to play the second shot.Aggressively, the approach takes you to the left across a deep valley short of the green, or conservatively, the longer, safer route to the right. In either case, a spectacular gol11A meandering stream left along the length of the eleventh hole makes placement of the tee shot of critical importance. With the stream and bunker located left of the green, and a tree-lined hillside along the length of the hole, the approach shot will require length and touch.12This long-yard par three, across a lake which hugs the right side of the green. With the rock dam behind the green and the lake surrounded by treesthis is one of the most picturesque holes on the course.13An uphill tee shot into the prevailing wind to the tree-lined,bunkerless fairway will be the most critical shot on the hole. The gradual and subtle contours of the large green must be read carefully for putts to drop.14Bunkers left must be avoided on the downhill tee shot to a wide fairway. This dogleg lefet to a green cut low in the hillside and protected by bunkers front right make this an excellent par four.15This is the second "driveable" par four on the course. It may be the last hole to make up strokes on the closing holes. The green is perched above several bunkers and the fairway contours will effect the final position of the tee shot. The fifteenth will tempt you with the stron possbility of a birdie16The final par five of the round is as exciting to view as it is to play.this straight-away hole fits wonderfully as a strong and scenic part of the sequence of closing holes. With the green in full view, set against a small lake and the tree-lined fairway framing the edges,17At 185 yards to a long, narrow green bordered by a small stream, accuarcy will be needed to get the ball near the pinThe hillside sloping to the green on the right is peppered with several small bunkers, reducing the chance of a generous bounce, and the stream left will collect errant shots.18From the elevated tees, the final hole may appear much more tame than it plays. The dogleg left is guarded on the inside with two gaping bunkers. The right side of the fairway features a jagged rock wall cliff. The fairway countrous and rolls markedly, but fairly.Having reached the green, the golfer is greeted with a large, heavily contoured putt to execute. Truly a strong finishing hole.
