1A drive placed on the left side of the fairway will give the best position for the approach shot. When the pin is placed at the front of green the approach is shorter than it seems2Club selection is crucial to ensure the player finds the right portion of the green.3This is a risk reward tee shot. A player may drive over the right hand side fairway bunker and find the putting surface, or play to the left hand side and be left with a short pitc4A well placed drive to the centre of the fairway leaves the player with two options.
1) lay up short of the right hand fairway bunker leaving a short iron approach.2) attack the difficult two tiered green. all second shots left hand side of the fairway feed into the water hazard.5The primary object of this tee shot is to remain on the fairway avoiding all water hazards and leaving the player with a long second shot into the green. A par on this hole is a go6A well placed drive up the left hand side will leave the player with a straightforward second shot into a relatively flat lay-up area.Players that elect to attack the green should avoid the water hazard on the right hand side of the green.The water hazard on the right hand side of the fairway comes into play for the tee shot.7This well bunkered par 3 will require great precision in order to hold the two tiered green.Tee shot plays longer than it appears as it’s uphill and the right hand side bunker eats into the green.8This tee shot requires that bunkers should be avoided at all costs to ensure that the player has maximum control over the second shot into a small green.9Drives must be placed on the left hand side of the fairway to ensure the best angle for a difficult approach that requires accurate club selection.10Hole 10 is a straightforward par 5 that requires the player to avoid all hazards to maximise the opportunity for a birdie.11Hole 11, a conservative tee shot that avoids the water hazard through the fairway leaves the player a short iron shot into a receptive green.12The wind plays a big factor in club selection on Hole 12, due to the sheltered amphitheatre behind the green.13At Hole 13 the tee shot must hit the fairway to give the player the most control over the approach shot to a very difficult two tier green with out-of-bounds over the back. It’s 14Hole 14 is guarded by an out of bounds down the left hand side and a lake on the right hand side.The feature of of this hole is the large tree that guards the left hand side of the green.This may be worth considering on the tee shot to avoid the tree at all costs.15Hole 15 is a long par 4 that requires well struck shots from tee to green in order to achieve best results.16Hole 16, a par 3, has a challenging green design, and a high, well struck iron to the middle of the green would be the desired outcome.17The tee shot at Hole 17 must be struck down the left hand side of the fairway to give the best approach shot with attention then being paid to landing the ball on the front portion18A tee shot placed on the left hand side of the fairway of hole 18 then leaves the player with two options – 1)Lay up short of the left hand fairway bunker, guarding against the water hazard behind this bunker and leaving a short iron into the green.
