1The round starts off with a fairly straightforward par four. The first hole is 279 yards from the white tees, drivable for the long hitters.Out-of-bounds greets you to the outside of the white fence lining the left side of the hole. A small bunker guards the left side of the green.2The second hole is 324 yards from the white tees. Out-of-bounds is on the left, so it is best to miss right off the tee box.The green slopes from left to right somewhat significantly.3The third hole is the first par three of the round. Only 116 yards from the white tees, this hole tests your short irons.The green is split into two sections by a ledge running across the width of the green. Any shots hit short of the green will usually roll back into the front.4The fourth hole is a reachable in two par five(changed in 2014), at 382 from the white tees and 394 yards from the blues.Trees guard the back of the green, so be sure not to be long.5The fifth hole is one that requires a precise second shot.After a fairly open tee shot, the green is guarded by bunkers on both sides, and trees to the left of and behind the green.6The second par three on the course is a little lengthy at 174 yards from the white tees, but there is not much trouble to get in the way.Bunkers guard the green on both sides, and trees line the back of the green. There is plenty of room to miss left and right of the green, but be careful not to stray too far left, 7The seventh hole is a fairly short par four. Out-of-bounds is on the left, and over the green.The fairway bunker on the left side will catch most balls headed towards the woods.8Number eight is the “monster” of the course. At 554 yards from the white tees, it poses a challenge to even the longest of hitters.The tee shot must be careful to avoid the ditch on the left, although it is playable from that spot. Trees line both sides of the fairway, and the green is protected by bunkers on 9An accurate tee shot is required on the ninth holewith a straight fairway lined closely with trees on both sides.There is water left of the green, but only the most wayward of shots will find its home there. The green slopes from back to front dramatically, so be sure to be short10The first hole on the back nine is a short par four.A long iron or fairway wood is all that is needed to set up a good second shot.The green is guarded by two bunkers in the front of the green.11The longest par three on the course has out-of-bounds left and right.Bunkers protect the front of the green.12A long iron or fairway wood will set up a good second shot on this par four.The fairway slopes down towards the green, which slopes from back to front. Out-of-bounds is left of the fairway, and trees line the right side.13The last par three is surrounded by trees on all sides. Carrying the ditch in front is a must off the tee. Going left of t14The fourteenth hole is a lengthy par four with out-of-bounds on the left.A couple of fairway bunkers are hidden on the right side of thefairway. Out-of-bounds comes into play to the left of and over the green, which is guarded by a bunker in the front right.15Hole 15 is a short par five, reachable in two for many. The tee shot should slightly cut the corner, as the far trees are reachable fromthe tee box. Fairway bunkers reside right of the fairway. A bunker guards the front of the green.16Hole 16 is a scenic par four, with an elevated tee looking down on the fairway from above.The ditch at the end of the fairway is 200 yards from the tee box. Out-of-bounds is in the woods to the right and over the fairway. Avoid going left of the fairway, as the trees co17The seventeenth hole is an uphill par four.Balls hit right of the fairway will kick down into the ditch, but it is playable from there. Missing left of the fairway is acceptable as well.The green is fairly unprotected, so a par should not be hard to come by on this hole.18The last hole is a dogleg-right par five.To allow for a good second shot, the tee shot should be on the left side of the fairway, although not too far left as the out-of-bounds is left of the tree line.Missing right is fine as the driving range is playable. Water guards the right side of the green as well as a large bunker. The green in lengthy, so be careful not to get too aggre
