1Your round begins with a slightly downhill tee shot,rewarding you if you're able to place your drive on the right side of the fairway, near the large bunker.From there, you have an opening to the slightly uphill green, reachable with a mid-iron. Once your are on this large green, remember everything slopes to the front of the green. A 2Don't be fooled by the short yardageThe pedestal-like green of this par 4 is surrounded by bunkers, placing a premium on good wedge play. Watch out for the swale on the left side of the greenmany will spin their golf ball off the green into a grass depression. From there it is a challenging up-and-down for par.3From an elevated teeyou'll see this hole wraps around a large lake on the left side of the fairway.Therefore the safe tee shot is down the right side, which also opens up the green for your approach shot. If the pin placement is in the front of the green - being on the back of t4While the first par 3 of the front side features a large green,for some margin of error, it's also the longest par 3 on the course. You'll need to carry and place your shot in the correct section of the green to avoid three green side bunkers.if your ball is on the back of the green and hole is in the front, you could be looking at a three putt.5Time to face the most difficult hole on the course.This long par 4 plays entirely uphill, with three fairway bunkers warning you to stay away from the right side on your tee shot.The green opens to the left hand side of the fairway, with shorter hitters able to run the ball up onto the green. The easiest part of this hole is the relatively flat green.6This beautiful par 5 features elevated trees cascading downhill,opening to a landing area guarded by fairway bunkers on the right. A perfect drive will end up close to the bunkers,setting up a second shot that needs to factor in a small creek and trees. The green is tucked around the trees to the left and is protected by a bunker known as "The Moose." It slo7This is another hole whose length is deceiving. From an elevated teeyou're forced to decide whether you want an easier drive, or an easier approach shot-you can't have both.The green sits up like a tabletop, demanding accuracy with your wedge. The front left side of the green slopes off into a "catch-all" area and the back right corner of the green ha8What a great looking par 3! Your tee shot carries over a wetland areato a large two tier greenThe ampitheater around the green creates a framing for the hole that makes a very "traditional look".9This slight dogleg left par 5 is a true test of length and accuracy.Any thought of trying to the cut the corner with your drive needs to include the fairway bunkers on the left.Another bunker will likely influence your second shot, but if you choose the safer right side of the fairway, you'll need to hit your approach over bunkers to an elevated green. Wh10After you've made the turn, you'll start the back nine on the elevated tee of this par 4.As long as you steer your drive clear of the large pot bunker on the right side of the fairway,you'll have a clear shot at the green. Once you have reached the green you are rewarded with a fairly level putting surface.11While a large landing area on this par 4 gives you the chance to let loose with your driveryou'll need to make sure your second shot doesn't go long.If you end up behind the green, you'll have a tough time getting it close to the hole as the green slopes from back to front.12The longest hole on the course at nearly 600 yards from the tips, this par 5 puts a premium on length and accuracy.After driving out to a large landing area, you'll want to make sure your second shot steers clear of the numerous "amoebae" bunkers down the left side of the fairway.Fortunately, the green is large and forgiving, so you'll have a good chance to hit it with your approach shot. Remember, the green is very deep.13We didn't have to do much work to create this natural, traditional-looking par 4.Hug the bunkers on the right hand side with your drive, and you'll get the best look at the green.There are no green side bunkers, but there are mounds to the left front, and the front right drops into a dip, so place your approach shot carefully.14Known as the Lake Hole, this par 3 isn't particularly long, but requires a careful tee shot.While you need to carry the water, ending up behind the green brings bunkers,mounding, and water into play. Hit the green with your tee shot and you will have a good chance at birdie.15This challenging par 4 is a classic.Threading the needle through the trees off the tee, you'll have plenty of room to land, but you'll be leftwith a long uphill second shot to a large green protected by bunkers to the front left and right.16Considerably shorter than the previous holethis par 4 is still very intimidating, requiring your drive to carry over wetlandsThe approach shot is no gimme either, with a kidney shaped green tucked behind a large bunker to the front left. Again, avoid hitting over the green!17With water front and right, and bunkers behind the greenthis is a very challenging par 3, especially from the longer tees. For the faint of heart, there is a fairway area to the left of the water, providing a more open shot to the green. Pin placement on the green can change the yardage 40 yards from front to back.18Your round finishes on this par 5 that bends slightly to the right.The green is tucked into the woods, with a natural amphitheater created by the hill behind. Be sure to take the seven bunkers guarding the green and approach area into consideratioOnce on the green, your are rewarded with a fairly level putting surface.
