1Par 5, 514 Yards. We wanted to restore the hole to the original Willie Park, Jr. design and that meant restoring the WilliePark, Jr. bunker on the right side of the fairway. The goal was to make the approach more challenging and put some shotmaking thought into the holeA cool characteristic of the hole now is that the false front has become more exaggerated. None of the greens were changed during renovation but over time the front of the first gr2Par 4, 355 Yards. The shortest par 4 on the golf course. One of the themes of the restoration project, because we are landlocked, was to build in length by taking the driver outof the golfer's hands. Great pin locations in the front right corner and back left corner of the green.3Par 4, 392 Yards. The O-Bject was to enhance the dogleg. The front pin is really difficult and you don't want to hit it long - therea six foot drop off the back of the green. Your miss on this hole is short. Miss it long and you're dead.4Par 3, 190 Yards. There are a lot of subtle breakson this green and the most difficult hole position is the back left corner. The entire bunkering concept was designed in a way that the tree downthe fairway on the left was to be removed. Once the three trees on the left were removed, the original Willie Park bunker was restored in the drivingarea as well as in the lay-up zone. It's an awesome green, simple on the front left and awesome on the front right.10Par 4, 376 Yards. The green complex on this hole underwent a major change somewhere in the 1950's. Until then, itwas a flat green with two shallow bunkers in front. Today, it is a tri-level green. Also gone from the original design are the crossing bunkers 75 yards short of the putting surfacWhen the pin is back left or back right, the hole becomes a half-stroke more difficult statistically. The bunker on the right was pushed farther down the fairway. The bunkering is 11Par 3, 167 Yards. The great bunkering on this par 3 can be intimidating, especially the large bunker in front. The bunkers on the back and side are all sloped toward the green. The green is fairly simple, with an interesting nose on the front side which is not often used for a hole position.12Par 4, 413 Yards. The only hole at Red Run without a fairway bunker. The trees on the left and the slope of the fairway define the drive. The slope favors those who are successful in cutting the corner of the dogleg. Beautiful panoramic view from the tee of the entire hole.15Par 4, 366 Yards. The water hazard in front of the green was expanded in 1983.This is a fairly flat green with bumps in it. The best pins are on the right side which brings the water into play.16Par 4, 372 Yards. A fun hole.
