A lay-up off the tee of 240 yards would stay short of the fairway bunker with a wider landing area, leaving the pPast the bunker, the fairway sweeps left and widens to 50 yards from 280 yards to 300 yards, leaving a pitch of less than 100 yards. The putting green has two distinctive tiers. Th11This par 3 plays a club downhill, to a peninsula green with water short, left and over.There is a steep faced slope that runs 30 feet off the front and left side down to Lake Manassas. The pot bunker short is the only thing that will keep a ball out of the water on a12Handicap 10 This is the shortest par 5 on the golf course. It is definitely a two-shot hole and has no fairway bunkers.The only question is what to hit off the tee. There are two sets of tee’s on this hole; the original tee is along the water, playing 505 yards, slightly down hill and right to le13A solid drive is important to set up the best approach to this undulating green.The fairway drops off at 310 yards from the tee.The swale will take the ball into the left rough where you must take your chances with the lie, but you will have a level lie from 140 yards.
