The approach shot requires full concentration as this g4A Slightly uphill par three that truly tests accuracy and distance control.With a long narrow green guarded by bunkers on the left and right side, players will need to play a club up to avoid leaving it short and rolling back into the approach area. With 5Challenging off the tee with a fairway that is guarded with bunkers left and right, players should favor the left side for a shorter approach shot. Longer hitters can challenge theA green sloping back to front requires an approach shot that leaves the player with an uphill putt. Spin control into this green is of upmost importance. With trouble lining the entire right si8A beautiful par five that offers the player an opportunity to hit an aggressive driveFavor the left side due to the "Stone Pine" that guards the right side of the fairway.Approach shots should be played up the left side which leaves a great angle into the green. Be careful of the pine tree guarding the right side of the approach area, this can lead 9This slightly uphill par three is the perfect hole to end the front nine.Players will need to take one more club as the prevailing wind is normally into the face. With bunkers guarding the left side and long, carry distance is key. With a back to front 10With on of the best views in Ventura County, and California for that matter, players cannot let themselves get distracted by the beauty of hole ten.A severe downhill par three that requires the player to select a club based off of the wind and conditions. The ball needs to carry over water and hopefully stop short of two daunt11Hitting a drive down the left side of this fairway is key with the fairway sloping to the right significantly.Players finding themselves on the right side of the hole will have to maneuver around or under stone pines and eucalyptus trees that line that side of the fairway. The back to fron12A sharp dogleg right that gives the players who can shape their shots a slight advantage.A long iron or fairway wood straight off the tee leaves a short to mid-iron into the green. Hitting a fade around the corner can cut off a lot of distance and leave a wedge in hand13Another scenic beauty where players have to battle the elementsWith the prevailing wind towards the golfer, poorly struck shots will fall short into a large collection area. Two large bunkers guard the left side of the green. Tee shots to the 14How much do you really want to chew off of your tee shot?The further left, the shorter the hole becomes, but the left is guarded by out-of-bounds. One of The Saticoy Club's most scenic holes with a completely unO-Bstructed view of downto15A picturesque par four that requires precision off of the teeThe right side is lined with trees as well as two large fairway bunkers. Prime position would be down the left side leaving players with an open approach shot and a great angle.The green is protected by a large bunker short right, and slopes back to front. Similar to hole thirteen, the grain will cause the putts towards the ocean to be faster.16Glory and Agony! Great tee shots will not provide players with an easy par.Players must navigate the right fairway bunker, along with the two left fairway bunkers that guard this hole. Second shots are uphill,resulting in the need for proper club selection, players must control spin as the green is severely sloped from back to front.17Bombs away! Large fairway, coupled by an elevated teeing ground,proves players with a free swing for distance. Second shot is uphill to a well-guarded green with bunkers both right and left.The green slopes from front to back so players should account for this when selecting the club to approach with.18Favor the right side of the fairway for the tee shot due to the fairway bunkers and trouble down the left side.Second shots must be long enough and down the left side of the fairway to avoid the large tree guarding the right side of the fairway.
