1A relatively easy opening hole with a slight dogleg from left to right.A tee shot positioned up the left side of the fairway away from the bunkers on the right leaves a short iron into the green. However with a helping wind it is tempting to go for the green but the bunkers 50 yards short will catch any under hit shots.2Coming early in the round it is a tough par 3 with out-of-bounds left and bunkers short left and long right. Land short and bounce on is the safe shot.3A long par 5 where a drive up the left for the bigger hitters can make the green tempting in two depending on the breeze. Deep rough can catch errant tee and second shots. Two bunkers protect the right side of the fairway and another at the right side of the green. A second shot up the left side of the fairway will leavea straight shot to the generous green, although watch out for the little hollow short of the green.4Another tricky par 3 with bunkers short left and right so taking enough club is vital to reach the green, but beware as the green slopes front to back, very hard to stop low flighted shots. Once there it requires a good putt if you are on the wrong level.5For most a drive short of the cross ditch leaving a long second. The longer hitter has the decision to lay up or be brave and go for the carry. The reward for being over is an easier short iron to a tricky undulating green, sloping right to left6Trouble left and right from the tee but left gives an easier second shot avoiding a warren and hollow right.A bunker protects front of green which slopes right to left with very subtle breaks.7A generous fairway where a tee shot up the left helps take thebunker on the front right of the green out of play. Good birdie chance.8A straightish par 5, the green is reachable with 2 good shots but more likely 3 which can be anadvantage stopping the ball on the raised flat green which has a bunker to the right.9Bunker protects front left & back right.Hitting the correct level on this 3 tiered green can be rewarded with a simple putt but missing the green or right level requires a good recovery to make par. 3 is a good score to 10Enjoy the view from the raised tee before deciding how much you would like to cut off this dogleg to the left. The rough on either side is punishing but a well placed tee shot leaves a shorter second into the raised green.11A good tee shot is required into this sloping green taking care to avoid the bunker on the right and staying short of the ditch behind.A good tee shot is required into this sloping green taking care to avoid the bunker on the right and staying short of the ditch behind.12A testing tee shot favours right for a better approach.Still requires a good second to reach the green which is well protected by two bunkers short and right and heavy rough on the left. slightly sloping back to front green.13Brilliant Par 4. A straight drive up the valley leaves a straight approach to the2 tiered green. Being on the right tier is a must to avoid the fierce 4 foot change in levels if the pin is on the other half.14Tough par 3. Bunkers surround front of green, anything short is certain sand.A well struck iron is required up the left to stop the ball when it lands on the green which slopes to the back and right.15Great driving hole. A generous fairway which tightens the further you hit your drive and the right half is ideal,it still leaves a tricky second into another raised green where staying straight is required to make a satisfying par and anything short leaves a tough up and down.16Fairway winds through the dunes with the cable house to the left of green.Standing on the tee it looks an intimidating tee shot but the fairway is wider than it seems, aim at cable house, A small bunker guards the left of green and a ditch catches anythi17The tees sit above the beach and the drive across the dunes is spectacular.Another intimidating tee shot where the dune forces you to drive right leaving a long second bringing the trouble on the right of the green into play. A drive left of the fairway b18The view down the fairway is equally inviting and a drive up the left cuts a few yards off your second shot but could flirt with the out of bounds and will leave a semi blind shot.
