This fairly short hole offers numerous options off the tee and a fairly large green lends itself to an easy bird3Straight away par 4. You can choose to lay up short of the bunkers right and left of this landing zone or try to drive past them.This green is guarded front and back by two bunkers.4Dogleg right par 4 with out of bounds on both sides of this hole.Hit a driver over the left edge of the fairway bunker to leave yourself with an easy approach shot into this green.5Hole #5 is a heavily guarded par 3 with a bunker front right and big pine tree on the left. This hole is all about club choice off the tee.6This dogleg left par 5 is a nice scoring hole. Hit your driver straight away at the bunker at the end of the dogleg. There are two trees in the middle of this fairway that can alter your second shot options. Best approach will be from the right side or past these t9You will finish the front nine with a short par 4. This hole can be intimidating off the tee with water left and right and a tree in the middle of this fairway.Options off the tee are to lay up to the right of the tree or drive over the water on the left. Either choice will leave you with a short approach to this green.10This slightly uphill dogleg left par 5 is a nice way to start the back nine.Hit your drive favoring the right side of this fairway to leave yourself a great angle into this well-guarded green.11Some would consider this the most difficult hole on the Woodlands course. Dogleg right par 4.A nice drive just to the right of the fairway bunker will leave you the best angle into this elevated and heavily guarded green.12Hole #12 is a short part 3 with bunkers front right, front left and back right. The correct club choice is key here.13Hole #13 is one of those sneaky holes that will grab you if you're not on your game. Dogleg left par 4 here will leave you with some options off the tee.Choose to layup short of the fairway bunkers or hit a longer shot over the left one.Either choice will leave you a short iron into a very shallow green.14Although it is not a long hole, you must give it some focus or you will certainly make a bogey.This straight away par 4 lends itself to a long iron or driver off the fairway.This will leave you a short iron approach into this green that is slightly downhill from your approach.15This long par 5 is a great scoring hole. Hit your drive right of the fairway bunker if you are unsure as to whether you can carry it.This will lend itself to an easy lay-up shot to the left of the trees guarding the right side of this green.16Hole #16 is a dogleg left par 4 that plays slightly downhill off the tee.The approach shot is to an elevated green that is guarded by a bunker front right and left.17The most difficult par 3 on the course is hole 17. it is guarded by water all around this green and a bunker in the front.Choose a club that will land on the front of the green, as this green tends to release balls to the back a little more than others.18Hole #18, the finishing hole on Woodlands, is a straight away par 4 with water along the right side.A nice drive that has avoided the water will leave a short to mid iron into this green that is guarded by bunkers right and left.
