From The Tee A fairly easy start to the round with a medium length downhill par 4 which looks for a drive down the right side of the fairway as everything kicks left off the tee.
From The Fairway Long hitters should favour a 3 wood from the tee to avoid a downhill lie into a smallish green which has trouble holding low flying shots.
On The Green Any ball struck short will kick forward onto the green if struck online. 2 deep bunkers either side are to be avoided as is the out of bounds on the right.

From The Fairway The fairway narrows up the further you drive so select your favourite club from the tee. An out of bounds fence stretches down the right hand side so stay away from that side of the fairway.
On The Green No trouble on the approach to the green but a severe fall off to the left of the green is to be avoided.

From The Tee A downhill par 3 which can play shorter than the distance as there is no trouble short of the green and balls kick down the slope and forward onto the green.
From The Fairway
On The Green Don’t overshoot the green as a devilish bunker makes par almost impossible. Stick one here on Saturday and win a soothing massage for nearest the pin.

From The Fairway A punishing pine forest on the right and a fairway bunker to the left are to be avoided at all costs. A straightforward approach to a large green protected by 2 shallow bunkers on the right.
On The Green Normally played into the prevailing wind this hole can nail your second to take out the Railway Liquor Station magpie voucher.

From The Tee A great short par 3 made so by the backdrop and an upside down saucer type green.
From The Fairway The perfect hit shot will find the putting surface protected by a bunker on the right and one at the back of the green at 10 o’clock. The best pizza in town is the Saturday reward for nearest the pin.
On The Green

From The Fairway With a fairway bunker on the left and trees down the right the best drive is down the middle.
On The Green A shallow bunker protects the left of the green and a severe run off awaits any shot missed on the right. A flat green gives you a good chance to make birdie.

From The Fairway Uphill second shots tend to balloon into the air off the up slope making this hole play longer. Once on the flat you have a wide fairway but the green is best approached from the left.
On The Green Precision with distance control is a must with your approach to this small green. Don’t miss the green on the right as an up and down is nearly impossible.

From The Fairway Short hitters will appreciate the run down the hill for their second shot. Balls landing short right have a chance of bouncing in close but the preferred approach is from the left up the length of the green. Can get some extremely tricky side hill putts on this green.

From The Fairway Your second or third shots call for a decision to be made; have a crack at the green or lay up 100 metres short of the hazard which runs across the fairway and then trust your wedge game. This green can be the trickiest on the course.
On The Green An apron has been cleverly created down the right side of the green to stop golfers putting off the green and down a large slope into the huge bunker defining the 9th and 18th holes.

From The Fairway Just avoid the out of bounds fence on the left, allow for some gentle run downhill and to the right, and all that awaits is an easy approach to an open green. Once on, an easy putt awaits on a flat green to give you a good chance for birdie.

From The Tee Uneven stances trouble the best of players and makes for a difficult shot in. Some tricky pin positions here can wreck a couple of good shots as putting can be treacherous to front hole locations.

On The Green The green slopes front to back and left to right. Play a baby draw in here for best results.

From The Tee The further right you go the longer the carry over water but the shorter the hole.
From The Fairway For shorter hitters, there is plenty of fairway to the left of the dam, but the hole plays longer and then water comes into play on your next shot along the right hand side.
On The Green The approach to the green is open but a severe slope from left to right needs to be taken into account.

From The Tee Take the safe option and hit a 3 wood or shorter to the corner of a flat wide area or have a crack at driver and slingshot your drive down the hill and close to the green.
From The Fairway
On The Green But beware the fence on the left and the pines on the right. This is not an easy green to chip on to and although it appears as a flat green not many putts are holed here. Magpie winners on a Saturday can enjoy a visit to the Darley Bakehouse on the way home.

From The Tee Your drive needs to bend left but if that isn’t for you, just plant one 190 down the middle for an easy pitch to a green that seems further away than it is.
From The Fairway
On The Green Avoid the treacherous bunker on the left at all costs. When on the green do not be fooled by the fall of the surrounding area. Many visitors are left scratching their head on this green.

From The Tee This can be a very difficult green to hold at times especially with a tail wind. A large sunken gully short of this green makes this hole special.
From The Fairway There is plenty of room to the right of the green for those golfers looking for a safer option.
On The Green But there is only one way to get the money! Good luck whatever you choose.

From The Fairway Players often tee off with a tail wind but stay out of the trees and a good score on this hole is gettable by most. Keep your balls away from enthusiastic golfers on the Practice fairway on the right and you will have no trouble on this hole.
On The Green A huge green which sometimes does not hold with a tail wind, is protected by bunkers on both sides. Putts can sometimes dive sideways alarmingly as the ball slows down, so be wary on the green.

Hole Name
From The Tee Often played into the wind and also the longest par 4 on the course, you need your A game to complete your round.
From The Fairway The drive is slightly uphill and the second needs to get airborne to escape the hazard which runs across the fairway. The green is set in an amphitheatre setting and gives great views from the clubhouse. Use the contours to make the approach easier by aiming slightly left with your shot into the green.
On The Green Then knock in your putt and dip your lid to clubhouse spectators. Better still, have a quiet drink in the beer garden or on the balcony and watch other golfers finish their round.
