Hole 1
Hole Name
From The Tee The opening hole is a long sweeping right bend, lined by trees until approximately 150m out. At this point the massive dam on the right comes in to play.
From The Fairway If you bend it too far off the tee you will find your ball in the compound. Even though the local rules give you relief from point of entry, the distance you loose and the tree line will hinder your second shot.
On The Green And for the bigger hitters, the green can be reached in 2 and is favoured by a gentle fade.
Hole 2
Hole Name
From The Tee The teebox is lined heavily down the left hand side with tall trees, these cause massive issues for those who fade, if you slice, maybe driver isn't for you on this one.
From The Fairway
On The Green If you find yourself too far right, hitting the green can be hindered by the pair of olive trees nestled in to the front right of the green.
Hole 3
Hole Name
From The Tee This hole sees O-O-B the full length down the left hand side. Yes the trees are big. Yes they can stop a ball. No they will not stop them all.
From The Fairway And if O-O-B wasn't enough, being too careful and trying to keep the ball right brings the adjoining dam from the first hole in play.
On The Green Also, should you send it long over the green, that little white ball may disappear into the rocky hazard.
Hole 4
Hole Name
From The Tee The fourth hole is a terrific birdie chance, if you can avoid the trees, the water and the bunkers.
From The Fairway
On The Green As you set your ball, you will look up and see two goalpost like trees, they are saying "pull out that short iron and plug the green" it almost seems too easy, so why is everyone always hitting the trees? Short left and short right are a couple of shallow bunkers and the green slopes handsomely from back to front. Hopefully you can walk off this one smiling.
Hole 5
Hole Name
From The Tee As you stand on the fifth tee, you may think to yourself 'I've seen this before' that is due to this being the signature hole from our logo.
From The Fairway If you missed out on a birdie on 4, here is your chance, for the big hitters this one can play like a LONG par 3. The water is there for intimidation, but shouldn't come into play.
On The Green The trees are what you need to watch out for. The green on this can easily be reached while keeping the woods in your bag. But should you want to go for it know your distance as long and left = O-O-B.
Hole 6
Hole Name
From The Tee Welcome to the sixth, although a similar yardage to the fourth, this is always underestimated.
From The Fairway
On The Green The green has an elevated front and is even steeper on the sides, if you fade too far right and carry to long, a sneaky little donut dam will come into play along the a few trees to chip out of. If the pin is tricky and tight left or front its advised not to go flag hunting, hit the green and take a par.
Hole 7
Hole Name
From The Tee Now for the seventh, many are yet to experience the new body of water that runs almost the full length of the fairway on the right hand side.
From The Fairway Once again, this hole can pep up them big hitters, but why? this plays a lot like the 5th, a couple of irons and your on. Also similar to the 5th there is a short dam approximately 100m away, there is also a fairway bunker sitting at about 200.
On The Green Trees line almost the whole left side. And this green has a massive second tier. Should you need to hit up onto the top tier, don't clear the back stop or you'll find yourself O-O-B.
Hole 8
Hole Name
From The Tee It is a moderate dog leg left with a massive tree marking the inside of the dog leg. You'll see O-O-B lining the near left and water hazards to the inside and the outside of the dog leg.
From The Fairway
On The Green And after you round the bend you have about 100 meters until a steep climb for approximately 150 meters until reach the green that slopes from back to front, safer here to play longer into the green into the backstop. If you manage a par here, you should celebrate like a birdie.
Hole 9
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway Teeing off from extreme elevation, this green looks within reach, well it can be if you put on your big boy pants. you just need to avoid the dam on the right sitting at the distance you will probably land.
On The Green But this hole is pretty straight, has a great tree lined fairway and has the club house sitting right behind the green where everyone will be watching you make your birdie putt.
Hole 10
Hole Name
From The Tee The dam that is short and right only catches out the short hitters and worm burners. Driver is not needed here, a nice long iron will leave you about 100 into the uphill green.
From The Fairway Occasionally a driver may get a ground draw with the fairway sloping from right to left leaving you ion the left rough or worse the left tree line.
On The Green Once you get onto the green this hole is far from over. The green slopes heavily from back to front. And when playing firm a chip from the back is nearly impossible to stay on the green.
Hole 11
Hole Name
From The Tee If you are looking for the blue tees, keep looking, they will add over 60 metres to this hole that sweeps from left to right.
From The Fairway From the tee the ideal landing spot is on the left side of the fairway (or even in the rough) as when that ball starts rolling, it is going to move from left to right on the serverely sloped fairway. And for your approach shot in you would love to have rolled to the right side of the fairway, rough is not to be feared here either.
On The Green Trying to stick this green from above coming in from the left can get a perfectly pitched shot to roll from the centre of the green all the way down to the green side bunker, as much like the fairway this green is sloped from left to right.
Hole 12
Hole Name
From The Tee As you stand on this tee box, you may question if this is a reachable par 4 or not. Sorry to disappoint (like this hole so easily can), but this is a par 3.
From The Fairway It plays just over 200 meters downhill, it has a super fluffy layup area for those who cannot reach the green and has a tight tree line down the left, that when the pin is placed in the far left you may question if someone has forgotten to put the flag back in.
On The Green When you get down to the green you will see slopes at the front and back. If shots played too long or short, you can easily find yourself off the green.
Hole 13
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway The fairway has fantastic curves from left to right, perfectly situated through the landing area. The fairway starts below the tee box height and slopes slightly from right to left as it curves right uphill. And keep going up as you look up to a (hidden) monster of a green.
On The Green And once you get to the green you will see (if you didn't know before) a 3, that is right THREE tiered green with its own slopes on each tier. This green will continue to keep you guessing.
Hole 14
Hole Name
From The Tee The 14th hole is a long scary downhill roller coaster of a hole, by leaving driver in the bag you may keep your ball in play, but do you want to hit your second shot over some tall trees? Me personally - NOPE! find the middle of the fairway at the lowest point in the downhill (but don't be rolling as everything feeds to the dam).
From The Fairway The play your second slightly up hill to one of the firmest greens on course, just because you hit a high shot in from 100 or less out, doesn't mean its not bouncing and rolling off.
On The Green And when your on the green you'll see why a ball can easily go through the back, sloping from up slightly before going gently towards the back and left of the green.
Hole 15
Hole Name
From The Tee Again, this hole loves a fader, but if your miss is straight, then straight OOB is where you could end up, although the left side of the fairway (and right after the right bend) is lines with trees, many, many golf ball somehow find their way O-O-B.
From The Fairway A long iron should get you to the bend, but if you take it on birdies and eagles can be had.
On The Green The 15th green as slopes to the left and rear that can feed golf balls towards the centre, this is more enticing to go for it in 2, with the low section being to the front and right, this is hole that gets most smiling before the stretch.
Hole 16
Hole Name
From The Tee So why did you hit it into the dam on the right? the fairway is wide enough and there are even mounds found on both sides of the fairway asking you to find the middle so why did you hit it into the trees near the 2nd tee? Did the dam scare you last time
From The Fairway Find the middle and on a calm day or on the off chance you got a tail wind let it fly, the green can be reached in 2, however, there are a couple of trees that guard the left side and a lengthy green side bunker on the right.
On The Green The green appears to have a narrow entrance and has many nuances depending on where the pin is placed. The slopes can be read from left to right and front to back. A par here is a happy 5 on the card.
Hole 17
Hole Name
From The Tee This is another thinking hole, yes, this is uphill (steep), and yes, you can reach that bunker with driver, and no the green is not as close as it looks. A mid iron off the tee will leave you a mid to short iron in and keep you out of heaps of trouble.
From The Fairway You will be hitting UP to this green no matter what you do off the tee, and the green even has a generous back stop, so don't be too afraid of going long.
On The Green The green up there is a fan favourite, the way it reads to the way it plays can be very deceiving. And the second tier or the right, although rarely used can make for a very tricky pin to seek. The green slopes from back to front, however, there may be a few pockets that may play tricks with what you see.
Hole 18
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway This plays roughly 220 metres, and playing it short to roll up is not an option as even the fairway here will stop the ball in its tracks. If you want to smile after 18 holes, you need to hit this green, and playing from an elevated position means a long iron or wood can hit and stick this green.
On The Green The green on 18 is long, it's wide, and no matter where that pin is placed, 3 putts will happen more often than people would like to admit. And after walking off this green you will be wanting to have another go of this hidden gem of the west, that over 18 holes has challenged all aspects of your golf game.
