From The Fairway A long tough Par 3, flanked either side by bunkers, requiring anything from a mid-iron to a fairway wood depending on pin location and prevailing wind. The canal down the right forces many to bail out left, leaving a tough up and down to save par.

From The Tee

From The Fairway With a tree lined fairway, a well-positioned drive to the top of the hill will set up the easiest approach, to a green that slopes from middle to front with a relatively flat back section.

On The Green The change in elevation makes club selection vital as subtle breaks on the green makes it a difficult hole to par.

On The Green Accuracy is crucial here as a long narrow green often proves an elusive target and can easily result in a big number on this easy hole.

From The Tee The only Par 5 on the course with Ballinamore Golf Clubs own “Eisenhower Tree”, requires an accurate drive from an elevated tee box which will set up the potential for a nice lay up or a chance to reach the green in two for the longer hitters.

From The Fairway

On The Green A tempting two-shotter but beware of the deep rough on the right and trees to the left as you approach the three-tiered green angled to the fairway and astutely guarded by bunkers and the canal.

Hole Name

From The Tee Bunkers on either side and the canal down the right await an errant tee shot. Club selection can vary hugely according to pin position and wind direction. A birdie is a real bonus on this hole.
