Hole 1
Hole Name
From The Tee A challenging opening Par 5, the first at Gull River requires your attention to start the round.
From The Fairway A tee shot positioned right of the bunker from the tee will open up the hole to play for position or attack the green protected by a bottle neck approach with a hazard on the left.
On The Green The green slopes from back to front getting more severe the further into the green the pin is set.
Hole 2
Hole Name
From The Tee A tight Par 4 dog legging to the left if played from the Blue Tee. The hole calls for a position play to the 100 yard marker with the fairway sloping from right to left.
From The Fairway Your approach from the fairway is a scoring opportunity but be cautious as anything long will be short sided and likely end up in the hazard over the green.
On The Green The green has a 3 subtle tiers with a small plateau in the back left being the most difficult pin position.
Hole 3
Hole Name
From The Tee A strategic but pretty Par 4 framed by large pines down both sides.
From The Fairway The fairway bunker on the left starts at 125 yards from the center of the green and should be taken into account when selecting your club for the tee shot.
On The Green The green is the smallest target on the golf course with a slope at the front but most shots carried into the green will release to the back.
Hole 4
Hole Name
From The Tee A straight away Par 4 that feels wide from tee but can cause problems with a wayward shot. Any shot lost right in the trees will be difficult to find and call for a sideways pitch out.
From The Fairway
On The Green Having the largest green on the course any pin set to the right will be a difficult approach and putt as it falls to the right and back of the green.
Hole 5
Hole Name
From The Tee The most difficult Par 4 on the course, it is set against the the beautiful Gull River overlooking Rotary Park.
From The Fairway Hole 5 dog legs to the the left calling for a positioned tee shot to the right center of the fairway. Long hitters can cut the corner to shorten the hole but will be playing to a small target around the corner.
On The Green Any shot lost to the right will be lost to the hazard that extends up the full length of the hole.
Hole 6
Hole Name
From The Tee A long Par 3 stretching along the back edge of the property at Gull River this hole calls for your best swing from any tee.
From The Fairway
On The Green Playing fractionally uphill you are not able to see the surface of the green and it slopes gradually from right to left throughout.
Hole 7
Hole Name
From The Tee The risk reward hole for longer hitters this Par 4 turns in a full "U" shape dog legging severely to the right.
From The Fairway Playing 230 yards from the back tee to the center of the green you may choose to hit the blind shot over the hazard aiming just left of the right tower on top of the escarpment.
On The Green Playing the hole around the corner takes precision as well so be sure to get #'s using a range finder or yardage markers.
Hole 8
Hole Name
From The Tee A pretty Par 3 enclosed by thick pine trees down both sides.
From The Fairway This hole is defined by its severely sloped green with a large false front that includes the first third of the putting surface.
On The Green Playing a half club more than expected is a safe play with this tee shot.
Hole 9
Hole Name
From The Tee Tee decks set in the hard right bend of the Gull River this is our signature hole at Gull River.
From The Fairway A dog leg left Par 4 this hole calls for a tee shot work left to right or a straight shot hugging the left side.
On The Green The approach is to a large greens that provides a challenge to finish with subtle breaks moving in all directions.
