Hole 1
Hole Name
From The Tee Aim your tee shot to the left side of this sloping fairway and you’ll need just a short iron for your 2nd shot.
From The Fairway
On The Green This flat green will hold a lofted shot, yet a number of players opt for the bump and run. Either way avoid going long or to the left and par should be easy.
Hole 2
Hole Name
From The Tee This par 5 requires 2 straight wood shots followed by a mid/short iron 3rd to the green.
From The Fairway Long hitters can come close in 2 but beware! Hazards border both sides of the fairway.
On The Green A large flat green will leave you with a good chance for the one putt.
Hole 3
Hole Name
From The Tee Grab a long iron, hit it down a hallway and make it stop on a dime
From The Fairway Sound like fun? That’s #3, our toughest par 3. Make sure you hit enough club; this uphill hole plays longer than its yardage might suggest.
On The Green If anything, a miss just short of the green will leave you with an uphill chip to the pin and a good chance for par
Hole 4
Hole Name
From The Tee Short and straight away, #4 gives you a chance to get one back from old man par
From The Fairway
On The Green A good drive here will leave you with a short iron to the green. Take advantage of this one!
Hole 5
Hole Name
From The Tee Distance and accuracy are a must on #5. Overall length, well-placed bunkers and a fairway flanked by hazards make it one of our toughest holes.
From The Fairway A good drive to the right side of the fairway will avoid the bunkers and leave you roughly 200 yards from the pin.
On The Green Reload the cannon and fire away, a back to front sloping green will hold your long iron or wood shot. Don’t overshoot. Trouble lurks behind the green
Hole 6
Hole Name
From The Tee Overlooking Evans Notch, this beautiful and scenic par 4 is our 2nd toughest hole
From The Fairway A drive of 200 yards or better is required to see the green which lies in a valley at the bottom of the hill.
On The Green Make sure you have enough club on your 2nd or you may find the creek that crosses the fairway just short of the green. There is no trouble long and the bowl shaped green tends to feed the ball back to the center. Par is a great score here.
Hole 7
Hole Name
From The Tee A wide sloping green guarded by bunkers make this hole a tricky and challenging part 3
From The Fairway Pay attention to the breaks and you should have no prO-Blems.
On The Green A mid iron to the right side of the green will give you a change at the 2 putt par.
Hole 8
Hole Name
From The Tee On this hole a drive of 175 yards is needed to carry a brook that crosses the fairway, from here accuracy is a must.
From The Fairway Fairway bunkers to the left and right make the landing area very narrow.
On The Green For your approach shot, a med/short iron to the left side of the green will avoid greenside bunkers to the right and leave you with a good chance at par. Pay attention: subtle breaks on the green could get the best of you
Hole 9
Hole Name
From The Tee Watch out for O-B on your right. If you hit a good tee shot,
From The Fairway you’ll have just a mid to short iron to the green. Like on #1, many players will hit a bump and run shot for their second.
On The Green A flat green will give you a great chance for birdie, so knock it in!
Hole 10
Hole Name
From The Tee On this hole, a downhill dogleg Par 4 right,
From The Fairway a drive of 215 yards slightly left of the two maples in the fairway will leave you with the best angle of approach to the green.
On The Green A mid to short iron from a downhill lie, over a large hazard, will gladly be accepted by the back to front sloping green. Stay down on your 2nd shot and don’t overshoot the green.
Hole 11
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway A long iron or fairway wood from the tee to the left side of this left to right fairway should leave you with a wedge to the green
On The Green Many birdies are made on this hole and long hitters might try to drive the green; beware of the hazard along the right side
Hole 12
Hole Name
From The Tee The best dam hole in Maine! Its name comes from the old Millbrook dam, a manmade hazard that crosses this beautiful Par 3.
From The Fairway This hole can be intimidating to the best of players, but a good swing with a mid iron can easily find the dance floor!
On The Green This double green which is shared with #17 is guarded by bunkers short of and to the left.
Hole 13
Hole Name
From The Tee On this tough yet tamable Par 4, distance and accuracy are a must if you want a chance at par.
From The Fairway A lateral hazard to the left and trees on the right, make this hole challenging for all levels of play. A well hit fade from the tee will find the fairway leaving about 150 yards or less to the pin.
On The Green A good sized green that slopes to you will accept your long iron or wood shot. But a miss, right or left, could find bunkers or trees, making the up and down difficult. Par here is a great score!
Hole 14
Hole Name
From The Tee A wide landing area makes the drive the easiest shot on this hole. From here things narrow up a little and a gully-like hazard comes into play
From The Fairway Your second shot should be a lay-up with a mid iron, although long hitters can carry the hazard and possibly reach the well-protected green in two.
On The Green A mid to short iron 3rd should be played to the left side of the green avoiding the bunkers for the best chance at birdie or par.
Hole 15
Hole Name
From The Tee Nothing fancy needed here! A good mid to short iron from a slightly elevated tee to a large flat green should leave many players with a chance at birdie
From The Fairway Look out for bunkers on the left and take advantage of this one.
On The Green
Hole 16
Hole Name
From The Tee Don’t leave anything in the bag on this tee shot. It’s a 180-yard shot to carry the hazard and reach the fairway
From The Fairway Once this is done, a shot of 170-150 yards to a sloping green will leave you with a tricky 2 putt for par.
On The Green A miss just short of the green will, at times, make for a better chance at par than a 2 putt would. Don’t overshoot this one, trouble lurks behind the green.
Hole 17
Hole Name
From The Tee This downhill dogleg left can be rewarding for the player who hits a straight tee shot.
From The Fairway Avoid a well-placed fairway bunker to the right. From here a fairway wood hit down the right side will leave you with a mid to short iron to the green
On The Green This large green is protected by a bunker on the left, so favor the right side and you’ll have a chance at birdie
Hole 18
Hole Name
From The Tee A drive of 200 yards to the left side of the fairway is all you’ll need to set yourself up for the trickiest 2nd shot on the course.
From The Fairway An uphill shot to a small three-tiered green could leave you with a great chance at birdie.
On The Green If you miss the green in regulation, you’ll have to work hard for your par.
