On The Green A straight drive is required to leave a pitch onto a raised green, but beware of the monster bunker nicknamed "Jaws" that protects the front of this green.
From The Fairway Off the back tees, this is a monster, with the river to the left and trees skirting the practice ground to the right. It is very easy to find yourself in trouble and in need of a chip back into play. Achieve a par here and you will be on for a good round.

On The Green A good birdie opportunity is available for those who can hold their nerve and avoid the out of bounds left. The green is in a bowl and precision golf is required to hold the green.
From The Fairway It is a spectacular par 3 which requires carry over two stretches of the River Birket. The difficulty does not end there, the water continues to be in play all the way down the left side and an accurate iron selection is needed to get on or close to the green.
On The Green Hit it long and you will be in deep trouble on grass banks that surround the boundaries of the hole, anything wayward may end up in one of the 4 bunkers that further protect the green. The green is challenging but readable, leaving an uphill putt is preferable. Walking off with a par on this hole is always welcome.

From The Fairway A great finishing hole. Land your ball to the left of the fairway, to leave an easier approach to the green.
On The Green Anything too far right and you are in danger of being blocked out from the green by the small copse of trees skirting the back of the 17th. The long-ish green holds the ball well, but beware the many bunkers protecting it.
