Hole 1
Hole Name
From The Tee The first is a tough par four with out of bounds on the right. Not excessively long but with water in front of the tee,
From The Fairway
On The Green down the right and in front of the green accuracy is needed. Trees down the left don’t allow for bail out.
Hole 2
Hole Name
From The Tee The second is a medium length par four.
From The Fairway Out of bounds down the left and bunkers in the fairway make hitting
On The Green the short stuff a must if you wish to have an easier shot to the large sloping green.
Hole 3
Hole Name
From The Tee The stroke index 5 third is a dogleg right.
From The Fairway
On The Green Long hitters will cut the corner and make this hole significantly easier. The green is bunkered on each side with a steep slope down at the back.
Hole 4
Hole Name
From The Tee The fourth is the first, and toughest, of the par threes.
From The Fairway
On The Green The wind is often straight into your face meaning that tee shots feel much longer than the yardage suggests. OO-B down the right and a well bunkered green means that par is always a good score.
Hole 5
Hole Name
From The Tee The fifth is a slight down hill par four with OO-B down the right.
From The Fairway Driver isn’t always the best choice as the fairway narrows.
On The Green The green is large with copse to the left and pot bunkers to the right.
Hole 6
Hole Name
From The Tee Stroke 17 and usually plays this way. The sixth is a shortish par five which changes dramatically between yellow and white tees.
From The Fairway Straight forward with bunkers in the landing zone. Large flat green slightly below the fairway.
On The Green
Hole 7
Hole Name
From The Tee bunkers therefore the best option is to keep left, but beware the O-B is close by. The bigger hitters can clear the left hand bunker. Your drive will determine your next shot as more fairway bunkers look. However, two of your very best could get you near and a birdie chance.
From The Fairway
On The Green A narrow bunkered entrance to the green means only accurately struck low tee shots are rewarded. Or just fly it straight to the pin!
Hole 8
Hole Name
From The Tee Stroke one is up next. A daunting tee shot with water to the right and trees to the left make for some anxious moments while the ball is in the air. Laying up isn’t really an option either as this puts the green well out of reach.
From The Fairway The fifth is a slight down hill par four with O-B down the right.
On The Green
Hole 9
Hole Name
From The Tee The ninth eases the pressure, a fairly straight forward par three with a large green guarded by bunkers.
From The Fairway
On The Green Solid iron play should result in par on this medium length hole.
Hole 10
Hole Name
From The Tee A long par four, the tenth is stroke index two. A water hazard runs down the right for much of the hole culminating in a small pond.
From The Fairway There are also trees down the left. Approach shots to the large green will usually be of the long iron variety!
On The Green
Hole 11
Hole Name
From The Tee The eleventh sees the same water hazard in play as the tenth. Slicers beware as this narrow stretch of aqua catches more than its fair share of balls.
From The Fairway
On The Green The green is small and narrow with bunkers on either side meaning approach shots must be accurate.
Hole 12
Hole Name
From The Tee The name of the twelfth is What Tree!
From The Fairway This classy hole is notable by the 100 year old oak situated in the fairway.
On The Green The fifth is a slight down hill par four with O-B down the right.
Hole 13
Hole Name
From The Tee The 13th is the shortest hole on the course and stroke 18. This little par three runs along the boundary of the course and marks the start of 'birdie corner'.
From The Fairway
On The Green This is the best chance of a two providing the green side bunkers don’t catch you out.
Hole 14
Hole Name
From The Tee The 14th is a drivable (on a good day) dog leg par four.
From The Fairway
On The Green Most aim towards the tall trees in the distance with a safer club than the driver to leave a short approach to the large sloping green
Hole 15
Hole Name
From The Tee The fifth is a slight down hill par four with O-B down the right.
From The Fairway
On The Green The approach over the pond to a two tiered green should be straight forward.
Hole 16
Hole Name
From The Tee The 16th is a solid par 5. Hit the fairway and the longer hitters may take on the green in two.
From The Fairway
On The Green Most will lay up leaving an approach to the large flat green with bunkers either side.
Hole 17
Hole Name
From The Tee Whilst the par five 17th is only a few yard longer than the 16th very few go after it in two.
From The Fairway Fairway bunkers can catch errant layups. Approach shots need to b accurate as the green is guarded by water and bunkers on each side.
On The Green
Hole 18
Hole Name
From The Tee Homeward bound. The 18th plays very differently dependent on the tee location.
From The Fairway From the whites you have to clear trees before finding the fairway.
On The Green The fifth is a slight down hill par four with O-B down the right.
