Hole 1
Hole Name
From The Tee A short but tricky par 5. With a lateral hazard running down the entire left side of the hole and trees lining the right side,
From The Fairway a tee shot in the fairway is crucial for making par or better.
On The Green Long hitters will have no prO-Blem reaching this par 5 in two, but any approach shot left short of this relatively small green will leave an extremely fast pitch shot which will be difficult to hold the green
Hole 2
Hole Name
From The Tee The ultimate risk and reward hole. A long tee ball will leave a short approach shot to an uphill green where keeping the ball below the hole is a must.
From The Fairway A very narrow and well protected fairway is difficult to find, and an uneven lie awaits any ball that finds the short grass. With a lateral hazard penalizing any tee shot to the left and the trees covering the right side of the hole, hitting the fairway is crucial.
On The Green Any ball above the hole on this small and heavily slanted green is almost a guaranteed three putt.
Hole 3
Hole Name
From The Tee What you see is what you get! A fairly generous fairway protected by large pines along the right side should not be difficult to find.
From The Fairway good tee ball sets up a mid-iron approach, where club selection is very important
On The Green Two small bunkers guard both sides of this back-to-front sloped green. Any shot long of this green will be nearly impossible to get up and down
Hole 4
Hole Name
From The Tee This sharp dogleg left requires careful thought with the tee shot
From The Fairway Large trees prevent long hitters from cutting the corner with a driver but a high lofted fairway metal may help to cut a few yards of this 400 yard par 4. Drives going through the right side of the fairway may encounter tree trouble as large pines line the right side of the hole
On The Green With the predominant flow of the green being back right-to-front left, the safe approach is to the left side of the green. Any shot landing on the front of the green is likely to roll back down the fairway due to a false front
Hole 5
Hole Name
From The Tee Don't bite off more than you can chew on this dogleg! The downhill tee shot makes cutting the corner awfully tempting but the risk outweighs the reward
From The Fairway A large willow hides the only water hazard on the golf course, and any tee ball headed left of the cart path has a good chance of finding the creek. Provided a very generous fairway
On The Green golfers should focus down the right side which leaves an uphill mid-iron approach to a relatively flat green. Approach shots to the green may play slightly longer than the yardage markers show
Hole 6
Hole Name
From The Tee The second shortest hole on the golf course, this par 4 looks like a guaranteed birdie
From The Fairway Keep the ball in the fairway and par becomes a very easy score, but trees guard both sides of the fairway and overhanging limbs will leave nothing better than a chip or punch shot
On The Green Avoid the rough off the tee and a small greenside bunker and you will make a lot more birdies
Hole 7
Hole Name
From The Tee The first par 3 on the golf course is guarded by three very difficult bunkers on three sides
From The Fairway Depending on which teeing ground is used, a short-to-mid-iron is all that is needed on this relatively short hole. Don't let the short yardage fool you
On The Green This green is not as easy to hit as it looks. A small green which sits partially hidden from the tee box makes it difficult to choose the right club. Play to the center of the green to avoid any large numbers
Hole 8
Hole Name
From The Tee Measuring only 474 yards from the back tees, this dogleg right par 5 plays much longer than its measurement.
From The Fairway With two large trees protecting the right portion of the hole, a fade is ideal for keeping the ball in the fairway. Any ball headed left via a hook or pull has a good chance of ending up out of bounds. With the country club entrance road running down three-quarters of the left side of the hole, the tee shot is very intimidating
On The Green Find the fairway and you are left with an uphill second and third shot. Trees guard both sides of this hole so make accuracy your number one priority to avoid worse than bogey
Hole 9
Hole Name
From The Tee The shortest par 3 on the golf course, but in many ways, it's the most difficult. This par 3 green acts very similar to an island green
From The Fairway Any ball missing the green faces a nearly impossible up-and-down save
On The Green Any ball left or short will catch a severe downhill slope, and where the likelihood of seeing the putting surface is slim-to- none. A small hazard will catch any ball headed too far left and two deep bunkers swallow any ball missing right. Play smart and stay concentrated on the center of the green
Hole 10
Hole Name
From The Tee Arguably the most difficult par 4 on the course, two good shots are required to make par on this hole
From The Fairway Pines left and right of the fairway require a straight tee shot to find the fairway. Most second shots to this slightly elevated green will be with a hybrid or long iron
On The Green Any approach shot left and short of the green will result in a difficult uphill pitch shot
Hole 11
Hole Name
From The Tee A driver is not needed on this short par 4
From The Fairway Finding the fairway is crucial in order to hold this green with a short iron. Pines right and oak trees to the left will block the approach shot of a wayward drive
On The Green A second shot reaching the putting surface should result in nothing worse than par
Hole 12
Hole Name
From The Tee Another demanding par 4 that requires accurate shots from tee to green
From The Fairway Fairway bunkers line the right side of this dogleg and pines guard the left side. Drives finding the center of the fairway will leave a long downhill second shot to a heavily bunkered green
On The Green Hitting this crowned green in two shots will not guarantee par, two solid putts will be necessary
Hole 13
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway This long par 3 is highlighted by the "Smiley Face Bunkers" short left of the green
On The Green Most will be hitting hybrids or long irons into a green that runs away from you. Be sure to take enough club as there is no easy up and down from short of this green
Hole 14
Hole Name
From The Tee Short hitters will have trouble with this par 5. The longest hole on the course provides no relief form a difficult back nine stretch of holes
From The Fairway Finding the fairway is critical off the tee; with out of bounds right and pine trees left, arrant tee shots will have noting more than a chip out for the second shot
On The Green The shorter hitters need to lay up to the dogleg in order to leave a short iron approach to a green that runs towards the back. This par 5 is reachable to the longest hitters at the club, but beware, out of bounds sneaks right up to the green
Hole 15
Hole Name
From The Tee A short but challenging par 4 that requires an accurate tee ball.
From The Fairway Pine trees line both sides of the fairway. Short hitters are safe hitting driver off the tee while the longer hitters should opt for a fairway metal or hybrid to stay short of a fairway bunker
On The Green Second shots should be long enough to clear the two front bunkers. A two putt is no guarantee, be careful putting down the hill
Hole 16
Hole 17
Hole Name
From The Tee An uphill par 3 that is heavily guarded by bunkers and moguls
From The Fairway
On The Green This two tiered green is receptive to most shots, and the low ball hitters have a small fairway in which to run the ball up to the green
Hole 18
Hole Name
From The Tee The closing hole is a challenging par 5 which again requires finding the fairway
From The Fairway Heavily guarded by pine trees, the majority of golfers have no choice but to lay up at the 90 yard marker. Only a few of the longer hitters are able to reach and hold this green in two
On The Green The back to front sloping green is guarded by several deep bunkers which are difficult to hit out of . Shots long of this green allow very little chance of getting up and in to finish the day
