From The Fairway Elevated tee boxes overlook a wide fairway.
On The Green Tees shots that favor the left side are guided back to the fairway by the hill. Tee shots that leak to the right can find the fairway bunkers. Most bigger hitters should be able to clear the bunkers and set up an easy, uphill wedge shot to the two-tier green. Always better to keep the ball below the pin for Braemar’s fast greens.

From The Tee This downhill par 3 is guarded on the left by an overhanging tree and a greenside bunker.
From The Fairway
On The Green The right side features a full-length bunker that runs along the ravine. Winds tend to circle in the afternoons around this exposed hole. Tee shots favoring the middle of the green should create a fairly low-stress 2-putt par.

From The Fairway Standing on another elevated tee box gives players a great view back to the clubhouse and the tree lined fairway
On The Green Take careful note of the distance to the creek that runs across the bottom of the fairway about 220-240 yards, depending on your tee of choice. Second shot is to an elevated green and yardage is key. The green is protected by two bunkers on the left and a small pond on the right. Approach shots that find their way above the hole can be very tricky downhill putts.

From The Tee Hole four has a slightly elevated tee box. Longer hitters can reach the backside of the hill and roll the ball all the way.
From The Fairway
On The Green Most players will favor the top of the hill for a good look at the pin. This green is quite accessible after a good tee shot. Downhill yardage can be tricky for the approach to the green which features a right-side bunker.

From The Fairway This dogleg right hole has O-B on the right hill and shots that move left can find one of the fairway bunkers or run off the fairway completely.
On The Green Accuracy and club selection are paramount for this tee shot. Players with a well-placed tee shot can expect a simple uphill approach. The two-tier green features a very deep pot bunker directly in front. Once again, club selection is key to find yourself on the proper tier for a 2-putt opportunity.

On The Green Shorter drives will have a blind second shot to a green set close to 50 feet below the fairway. A par on this number one handicap hole is always a good score.

On The Green This dogleg left par 5 demands 2 long shots to have a chance at hitting the small elevated green. Green is guarded by 2 front bunkers and a large tree on the right side. Better to come up short with approach shots than to miss to either side or long.

On The Green Majority of the players will be hitting a blind second shot from a severe uphill fairway that prevents golfers a glimpse at the green. A small pond catches most missed shots that come up short and to the right of the green.
