Hole 1
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway A tricky par 4 opening hole with emphasis being on a straight tee-shot as Out of Bounds lines the left side, and gorse plantations the right side of the fairway.
On The Green
Hole 2
Hole Name
From The Tee A mid-length par 4, with a tee shot needing to be aimed down the right half of the fairway onto a right to left slope, be careful not to turn the ball over too far as you will find a lateral water hazard collecting these shots around 200 yards off the tee
From The Fairway
On The Green
Hole 3
Hole Name
From The Tee The first of the par 5’s and the longest hole on the course, normally playing into the prevailing wind, and is then definitely worthy of its stroke index 1. The ideal would be a right to left tee shot onto a right to left slope to maximise distance from the tee.
From The Fairway
On The Green
Hole 4
Hole Name
From The Tee It could be considered our signature hole, a par 4 that requires two well struck shots to make a par. A tee shot with a carry of over 100 yards to avoid the water hazards and also a big oak tree on the left for the left to right players
From The Fairway
On The Green
Hole 5
Hole Name
From The Tee The first of a series of difficult par 3’s needing a long iron or fairway wood uphill to a well guarded green. Out of bounds close to the left side of the hole and a bunker front right make it a difficult decision.

Hole 6
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway The second of the par 5’s which requires a well struck tee shot uphill and to the left side to avoid any sight of 3 deep bunkers sitting at the bottom of the slope to the right of the fairway.
On The Green
Hole 7
Hole Name
From The Tee A mid-length par 3 with a two tier green making club selection very important. A straight forward tee shot but normally into the prevailing wind.

On The Green
Hole 8
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway A par 4 slightly uphill that tends to play longer than its yardage. The main spectacle being large fairway bunkers staring back at you offering only a narrow strip of fairway to aim left of them.
On The Green
Hole 9
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway A short par 4 climbing gently back up to the clubhouse. Straightness of hitting is paramount here. A very picturesque hole lined with gorse plantations up both sides of the fairway.
On The Green
Hole 10
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway Welcome relief as we head into the back 9 and are faced with back to back par 5s. The first of the two being the longest, the tee shot is hit to a wide fairway with two shallow bunkers catching the ball wide left.
On The Green
Hole 11
Hole Name
From The Tee The last of the 5’s which probably plays the shortest with the second half of it playing downhill. Ideally a right to left tee shot would suit the hole with a large oak tree guarding the left side of the tee.
From The Fairway
On The Green
Hole 12
Hole Name
From The Tee Arguably the most difficult of the par 3’s and although sharply downhill still seems to play its full yardage, 219 yards from the back tees, making club selection tricky.
From The Fairway
On The Green
Hole 13
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway A short par 4 that needs to be given more respect than the card suggests. An up hill tee shot that needs to be carried around 170 yards to reach the flat. For the longer hitters a long iron just left of the marker post is the percentage play, ensuring safe negotiation of a tightly lined fairway of gorse plantations.
On The Green
Hole 14
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway Another par 4 which offers a good scoring opportunity. From the tee right is a no go area with a long hedgerow running the length of the hole accompanied by 2 large deep fairway bunkers and gorse bushes.
On The Green
Hole 15
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway The longest par 4 on the golf course and worthy of its stroke index of 2. A long straight tee shot is required to avoid a large fairway bunker on the left and an imposing big oak tree which visually covers the right hand side.
On The Green
Hole 16
Hole Name
From The Tee The last of the par 3’s, stroke index 18, and can be made easy by a well struck tee shot to a large flat putting surface. The medal tee is some 30 yards behind the daily play tees so club selection is paramount from here.
From The Fairway
On The Green
Hole 17
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway A long par 4 that seems to play even longer and arguably the most picturesque hole on the course with its excellent definition. A slight dogleg to the right with a bunker covering the right side of the fairway making the landing area quite narrow for the longer hitters.
On The Green
Hole 18
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway The final hole with the clubhouse being the main back drop. An uphill tee shot avoiding the two deep fairway bunkers should set up a par chance. The left will catch the shorter hitters and the right the longer hitters.
