Hole 1
Hole Name
From The Tee A great starting hole. This hole offers a large landing area with ample room to the right, which is helpful for the first tee shot of the day.
From The Fairway
On The Green The green is large and protected in the front by two bunkers left & right. Wetland area starts on the left side of the green and wraps around the backside, nothing but trouble.
Hole 2
Hole Name
From The Tee A great golf hole! This is where the course starts getting interesting.
From The Fairway The landing area is larger than it looks from the tee box, the bunker on the left side of fairway will come into play.
On The Green The woods to the left and water on the right demand a straight tee shot. This large green is slightly elevated with subtle breaks and elevation changes.
Hole 3
Hole Name
From The Tee A very long par 5 that only the very long hitters can reach in two.
From The Fairway A carry over the wetlands is needed to reach the fairway, hitting the fairway is a must! An accurate 2nd shot is needed to position for the approach to the green.
On The Green The green is very large and protected by grass and sand bunkers.
Hole 4
Hole Name
From The Tee A very tough par 3 hole. This hole requires a long iron off the tee, over water, to a green that is well protected on every side.
From The Fairway
On The Green This large two-tiered green is tough to putt. A par is a good score on this hole, especially when the wind picks up.
Hole 5
Hole Name
From The Tee One of the best holes on the course.
From The Fairway An accurate drive to the right center of the fairway is needed. Length off the tee is critical, trees down the left side of the dogleg demand a tee shot past the corner.
On The Green The green is well protected by grass and sand bunkers, a large green that slopes back to front.
Hole 6
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway A beautiful par 5 hole with tee boxes set high above the fairway.
On The Green The tee shot must carry over a wetland area to a landing area, demanding an accurate tee shot. The green can be reached in two by a long hitter, but the smart shot is to lay up with a long iron or fairway wood. The green slopes from back to front with a bunker on the left and a bunker on the right. The Chippewa River runs along side the right side of the green.
Hole 7
Hole Name
From The Tee This dogleg left par 4 requires an accurate tee shot out past the corner.
From The Fairway No need for driver here, play smart with a fairway wood or long iron. A mid to short iron to the green, which is protected by several bunkers.
On The Green A long, skinny green, that can be tough to putt.
Hole 8
Hole Name
From The Tee One of the most talked about holes on the course. From the tee box, a beautiful view of the hole, the clubhouse and Fisher Lake.
From The Fairway
On The Green A very large two tiered green that requires the golfer to hit to the correct tier. The green is tucked between Fisher Lake and a strand of woods, demanding an accurate tee shot. Be careful of the wind!
Hole 9
Hole Name
From The Tee The toughest hole on the course.
From The Fairway The preferred tee shot is to the left center of the fairway, aim for the middle of the two bunkers on the left. For a shorter second shot go for the right side of the fairway, but be careful of Fisher Lake. The approach to this very large green will be with a mid to long iron, carrying over water the entire length.
On The Green The green is well protected by water from the front, right and behind. The wind can be a huge factor, sometimes two clubs!
Hole 10
Hole Name
From The Tee A tee shot aimed at the boulder with a slight draw will put you in perfect position to get at this green which is tucked back in the woods. If you hit it too far left off the tee you will be blocked from the green.
From The Fairway The green is larger than you think when you see if from the fairway.
On The Green The mound in front hides the large front portion of the green, if you're short of the hole, you will be left with a tricky long pitch or putt.
Hole 11
Hole Name
From The Tee This short dogleg right appears simple from the tee, but don't be deceived by its looks.
From The Fairway The left side of the fairway is where you want to be. If you are an aggressive hitter, you can aim down the tree line on the right and hit it long for a wedge into the green.
On The Green If you choose to be safe and go left, you are faced with a mid to short iron into this difficult green. If you get on the wrong side of the hole, or miss the green at all, a bogey is almost a sure thing.
Hole 12
Hole Name
From The Tee Only the long and very straight hitter will be able to get home in two on this tight par 5.
From The Fairway A tee shot played down the left side of the fairway will leave you with a little bit easier lay-up shot, or if you are feeling daring, aim straight and hit a long slight fade. Beware of the river, which runs the entire length of the right side of the hole.
On The Green The green slopes from front to back and can be difficult to putt.
Hole 13
Hole Name
From The Tee A straightforward uphill par 4, or so you think.
From The Fairway Keep the ball in play off the tee; left center of the fairway is best. When you get to the fairway you get a great view of the quarry, and the winds that come with it.
On The Green The green is two-tiered long and slender so pay attention to the wind and use an extra club to get it to the hole.
Hole 14
Hole Name
From The Tee The wind is the most important factor on this dramatic par 3. You must hit your tee shot downhill over a corner of Fisher Lake. The prevailing winds will be directly in your face, so add a club or two.
From The Fairway
On The Green With water surrounding the green, the bailout is short and right. Play the odds on this hole, aim for the middle of the green and go quietly with your par.
Hole 15
Hole Name
From The Tee This uphill par 5 is reachable in two with a good drive and well hit second shot. The hole plays uphill the first half, and then flattens out inside of 100 yards. A well-paced drive will leave you with an uphill second shot where you have to decide whether or not to go for the green in two through the narrow opening in the trees that line the fairway by the green.
From The Fairway
On The Green There is O-B just beyond this shallow green with a bunker short right, and a collection area that will gather shots missed left. The green is wider than it is deep making it difficult to hold this green with anything other than a short iron.
Hole 16
Hole Name
From The Tee This short downhill par 4 plays to a very narrow landing area 35 yards in width.
From The Fairway The landing area is about 250 yards from the white tees so it might be best to hit a long iron or fairway wood off the tee and leave yourself a short iron to the green. Fairway bunkers and a pond on the right side of the fairway and tall fescue grass down the left side of the hole will gO-Bble up any wayward tee shots. The Chippewa River frames the green along the left side and behind, with wetlan
On The Green
Hole 17
Hole Name
From The Tee This short but tough par 3 puts your short game to the test. Depending on the wind, you could have anywhere from a SW to a 7-iron.
From The Fairway
On The Green The green is well guarded and has 2 tiers so make sure you are on the same level as the flagstick if you want any shot at making a par on this hole. If you are having doubts on the tee box, take an extra club, short of the green is no bargain.
Hole 18
Hole Name
From The Tee As you drive uphill towards this tee box you get a superb view of what lies between you and the clubhouse. This breathtaking finishing hole will test your golfing might to its fullest. You can bite off as much of Fisher Lake as you can chew with the tee shot, but the less you take off the longer shot into the green you will have.
From The Fairway When you reach the fairway your work is still not done, there is water short, long and left of the green to catch your approach shot.
On The Green Bunkers guard the left and right front of this very large green. Just a great finishing hole.
