Hole 1

Hole Name

From The Tee A nice opening par 5 to start your round. Your tee shot should favor the left side of the fairway since the slope is left to right.

From The Fairway A small creek runs along the right side, while O-B is along the left. Your second is usually played with a mid to long iron to set up a wedge approach, although the green is reachable by longer hitters.

On The Green This hole offers players the opportunity for a great start to a round.

Hole Name

From The Tee This is the most difficult hole on the course when playing into the prevailing wind.

From The Fairway The fairway slopes from left to right towards a creek and O-B runs the entire left side. The proper play is up the left side off the fairway.

On The Green A good tee shot will leave you with a mid-iron approach to a shallow but wide green that is open in front. Miss right and your ball will be well below the green.

Hole 3

Hole Name

From The Tee The third hole is a short but difficult par 4. The fairway is severely sloped, rising 50 feet from 150 yards to 100 yards from the green, making for a difficult approach, especially when playing into the prevailing wind.

From The Fairway

On The Green If your tee ball is hit well, your second shot is a short to mid-iron to a green with a 4 foot tier running through the middle. Missing right will put you wel below the level of the green. Distance control is a must. Three putts are common when you’re on the wrong tier.

From The Tee An excellent mid-length par 3 guarded in front by two bunkers. This hole plays downhill, but usually the wind is from left to right. Missing right could leave your ball O-B.

Hole Name

From The Tee A blind par 4 into the wind creates havoc here. Your tee shot is played at a set of trees at the end of the dogleg, leaving a short iron or wedge approach from a downhill lie.

On The Green Missing the green left will make par very difficult to achieve. Excellent birdie chance here with a good approach.

From The Tee

From The Fairway A very reachable par 5 when playing downwind. The proper play is up the right side for a level lie in the fairway. You must negotiate a group of trees in the middle of the fairway when going for the green or laying up. If you lay up on the left side of the fairway you will leave hava a level lie and be able to see the green, but you must play over the front left bunker.

On The Green If you lay up on the right side of the fairway, you are in a bowl and unable to see the green, but there isn’t any trouble to play over. An excellent birdie opportunity.

Hole 7

Hole Name

From The Tee It’s make or break time for your round. This hole requires distance control both off the tee and for your second. The hole doglegs right at 100 yards. The ideal play is a shot up the right side to leave you about 130 yards to 90 yards to the green.

From The Fairway If your tee ball goes left it will leave a blind, downhill approach from a bowl in the fairway. Longer hitters can play a little more right and catch the slope and run down the hill right in front of the green, leaving a short pitch. Birdie can keep your round going; a bogey, and you will need to recover.

On The Green A difficult mid-length par 3 set on a plateau. This hole plays downwind and the green is hard in front and guarded left by bunkers. If you’re short, you’ll go back down the hill leaving a tough recovery. Again, make or break time.

From The Fairway A great ending to the front nine, a par 4 with the prevailing wind. O-B guards both sides of the narrow downhill fairway.

On The Green The proper play is up the left side leaving a short iron to wedge second, up the hill, to a green guarded in front by bunkers. Total the front nine and see how you fared. What is your score? What did you do on the last three?

From The Tee

From The Fairway A visually intimidating par 5 to begin the back nine. Your tee shot must be played out to the right in order to let the slope roll the ball into the fairway. Anything played to the left side will potentially roll into the water.

On The Green From a side-hill, uphill lie, a long iron lay-up for a wedge third or going for the green in two will be your options here. Again be sure to play up the right side to avoid the slope towards the water. This is the start for another good nine hole score.

From The Tee A short but sweet par 4 is what you are facing at 11. Longer hitters can try to drive the green if they play just right of the green. Any tee shot played left of the dogleg will find the rough and leave a wedge to short pitch to a flat, round green. If you need a birdie, this is the place to get one.

From The Fairway This is one tough par 4. From the tee, you can see only a small part of the fairway on the left. The proper play is just left of the cart path which runs down the right side of the fairway.

On The Green You are left with a mid-iron second to a plateau green which is guarded front and left by bunkers. If you go long, drop another ball, you’re prO-Bably O-B. A short approach will only put you back down the hill for yet another tough recovery. Par is a good score here.

Hole 18

Hole Name

From The Tee Gambler’s Paradise to complete your round. What’s your fancy? The proper play is to get between 160 and 130 yards from the green. You must be straight and accurate.

From The Fairway Trees form a wall on the right side of the fairway at 150 yards. Water guards the left side of the fairway. The fairway slopes severely from right to left so a shot even on the right side potentially will find rough on the left. A short to mid-iron second up the hill will finish off the round.

On The Green Left and short of this green will leave a tough chip back up the hill. The gambler will take driver and need to hit a large left to right shot to stay in the fairway, leaving a wedge approach.
