On The Green The contoured green will test your putting skills wherever the pin is located. The Burford members will never give a putt on this green and you will do well to take their lead.

On The Green its low stroke index will give you a clue to how difficult the third hole plays. A five is not a bad bogey here.

From The Tee This is a gentle downhill par four with some beautiful trees giving lovely colours especially in the Autumn.

On The Green The bunker to the right of the green takes more than its fair share of approach shots, so be warned.

On The Green this is definitely not a hole for the nervous driver. The green slopes gently towards the player so will hold the second shot - a good par four.

On The Green Beware long hitters the trees either side of this hole may cost you. Nicely placed bunkers make the golfer think all the way when playing the sixth.

On The Green with the approach shot over the "three sisters" bunkers. The receptive green allows the golfer to be bold. This is a very strong par four.

From The Fairway over a large cross bunker. Please take time as you wander down the hole to look at the magnificent lime trees on the right, as they are wonderful specimens.

On The Green Take care when when laying up for your third shot on this par five. The large tier in the green deceives many a golfer and take special note of the flag location.

On The Green Most tee shots down the slope will leave you within one hundred and fifty yards of the green.

On The Green if you are peckish help yourself to the plums, damsons and apples from the fruit trees - all are very tasty.

From The Tee Pass through the arched hedge on the tee to find this lovely par three.

On The Green A short iron is needed over the lollipop trees to a heavily bunkered receptive green.

From The Tee The sixteenth is a strong par four which starts a difficult finishing stretch.
From The Fairway This is not the best hole for the fader of the ball as the trees on the right take their fair share of errant shots.

On The Green The player needs to be very straight through the conifer copses for an approach to the green. Three fours is a very good finish at Burford.

From The Fairway the left and behind the green on this lovely finishing hole. Players tend to come up short with their approaches as the uphill slope deceives them.
On The Green The clubhouse is nearby so take a drink on the patio, relax and watch others battle the last hole while you reflect on your round on this gem of a golf course.
