Hole 1
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway The first hole is a fairly generous opening hole. Take a driver or fairway wood down the right hand side of the fairway and the ball will feed back to the middle.
On The Green Out of Bounds all the way down the left and greenside bunkers at the front of the green.
Hole 2
Hole Name
From The Tee This hole is longer than it appears, so get a good drive away. Be aware, it is out of bounds all the way up the left hand side.
From The Fairway
On The Green Any drives that hit right of centre will feed further to the right and may find trouble in the trees. Hint - take an extra club on your approach shot, the inlcine is deceptive and the green is well protected by 2 front greenside bunkers.
Hole 3
Hole Name
From The Tee A tricky Par 5 with a bunch of options. It can be reached in two, but beware it is out of bounds all the way down the left hand side and behind the green. In the Summer a drive left of the fairway will go out of bounds.
From The Fairway To attack the hole either shape your drive from left to right around the big tree on the right, or ideally take a straight drive straight over the top of the big tree. If your drive makes the bottom of the hill you will be in the go zone.
On The Green If not, take your favourite straight hitting club and tap it over the rise. From here it is a simple down hill short approach shot to a large green.
Hole 4
Hole Name
From The Tee Arguably the toughest hole on the golf course, the 4th hole is a real tester. Long ....... Straight Up Hill ....... a Two Tiered Green ........ and a well placed golf ball catching pine to the right of the green.
From The Fairway On the way down the 3rd have a sneak peak at the 4th green and note the flag location (top or bottom).
On The Green Take an extra club, or maybe two, hit it long and straight and land it softly on the correct tier ........... good luck!
Hole 5
Hole Name
From The Tee A short par 4 with a right to left dog leg. The green can be reached in one by the big hitters, but once again there is out of bounds to contend with all the way down the left.
From The Fairway The easiest way to play the hole is to take a fairway wood or long iron off the tee and knock it just right of centre. The ball will feed around to the left and leave a short iron to the green. The approach can be tricky, the ball will be above your feet for the right handers and below your feet for the lefties shank teritory.
On The Green If you are going to miss this green, miss it short. Miss to the left and you may be unlucky enough to have it bounce of out bounds. Miss to the right or behind the green and the chip shot is tight.
Hole 6
Hole Name
From The Tee The easiest hole on the golf course. This short par 3 requires a short iron straight up the hill. Land it close on the generous green and it should stop.
From The Fairway On the way down the 5th fairway have a peak at the 6th green and note the pin location.
On The Green
Hole 7
Hole Name
From The Tee The 7th is a long par 5 that is slightly up hill all the way. Only the longest hitters will get to this one in two shots.
From The Fairway There is not a lot of trouble off the tee once you get through the narrow opening.
On The Green The toughest part of the 7th is the long sloping green. Have a good look at the pin location as there is a 3 club difference between the front of the green and the back of it.
Hole 8
Hole Name
From The Tee A long par 4, the 8th can prove difficult to reach in two when the wind gets up. A generous fairway allows for a big drive.
From The Fairway Take the drive down the left hand side of the fairway for maximium roll and distance.
On The Green The green is generous to hit, but difficult to putt on, with some big slopes and some miss leading rolls. Avoid missing the green to the right.
Hole 9
Hole Name
From The Tee The 9th is a short par 4 with a tight left to right dog leg. Long hitters can take the drive just left of the corner.
From The Fairway Shorter hitters should aim left of the corner to ensure an unobstructed look at the green for the approach shot.
On The Green Take an extra club up the hill to the generous green.
