Hole 1
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway A friendly opening hole, slightly uphill. The Ideal line off the tee is to the right half of the fairway
On The Green leaving a great line into the green. The green slopes very much back to front with a step 2/3rds of the way up the green. Two putts on this green is always a bonus.
Hole 2
Hole Name
From The Tee A lovely par 3 that is protected by bunkers right and left.
From The Fairway
On The Green Requires a short to medium iron into a green that slopes right to left.
Hole 3
Hole Name
From The Tee The 1st of the par 5’s, this hole swings right to left for all of its 558 yards.
From The Fairway A demanding tee shot to a fairway that slopes left to right. Care is needed with the 2nd shot as a ditch runs across the fairway 110 yards from the green.
On The Green Big hitters can easily clear the ditch with their 2nd shot. When arriving at the green you will find it is one of the flattest on the course.
Hole 4
Hole Name
From The Tee A shorter par 5 with most of the big hitters reaching the green in two.
From The Fairway However, the fairway is one of the tightest on the course, a good tee shot could leave you with a fairway wood or hybrid to the green.
On The Green Bunkers left and right just short of the green await any errant shots. Another reasonably flat green.
Hole 5
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway What a great golf hole with the tee shot being played through an avenue of trees into a fairly wide fairway.
On The Green The ideal line is the left half of the fairway, big hitters beware of a ditch which runs across the fairway 305 yards off the tee. On a good day a well hit long iron or hybrid is required for the 2nd shot, starting the shot towards the left side of the green as the approach slopes left to right and there are subtle borrows on the green. A par 4 on this hole is a great score anytime.
Hole 6
Hole Name
From The Tee A demanding par 3 set in a beautiful amphitheatre of trees,
From The Fairway
On The Green 165-yards uphill playing all of its yardage with bunkers awaiting any shots falling short of the green. A large green awaits any well hit tee shot.
Hole 7
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway A very tight driving hole to a fairway sloping left to right. Left hand side of the fairway is the ideal line as this will leave a
On The Green mid to short iron into the green, the front of which is protected left and right by bunkers. Longer hitters will hit a fairway wood or long iron off this tee.
Hole 8
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway A left to right dog leg which requires a good tee shot to the left hand side of the fairway.
On The Green The longer hitters will not require a driver off the tee as the fair way runs away from you and there is a ditch approximately 280 yards from the tee. The 2nd shot is slightly uphill to a green that slopes right to left.
Hole 9
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway Aim at the clubhouse from the tee to a fairway that slopes right to left and is slightly uphill with only the longer hitters managing to hit the ball over the brow of the hill.
On The Green The 2nd shot can be tricky as there are not many flat lies on the fairway. The green slopes from back to front and is difficult to read with subtle burrows.
Hole 10
Hole Name
From The Tee This is a great par 3 198-yards uphill and it plays all of its length.
From The Fairway
On The Green A well hit tee shot is required to a green that is well protected by 3 bunkers and has two tiers so finding the right level is important.
Hole 11
Hole Name
From The Tee A 313-yard par 4 with a sharp dog-leg to the right.
From The Fairway A fairway wood, long iron or hybrid off the tee to the corner will leave a short iron to a green that slopes left to right.
On The Green There is another two-tier green and any ball finishing above the hole will make getting down in two putts difficult. Longer hitters may attempt to drive the green, but anything slightly off line or not hit high enough, will be in trouble.
Hole 12
Hole Name
From The Tee At 214- yards the longest of the par 3’s and like the 10th, it is up hill from tee to green and will require hitting a driver when playing into the wind, it is also heavily guarded by bunkers.
From The Fairway
On The Green Requires a well struck tee shot to reach the green, which has some subtle borrows.
Hole 13
Hole Name
From The Tee The final par 5, a long straight hole with out of bounds all down the left-hand side.
From The Fairway
On The Green Shorter tee shots will pitch into an upslope, but longer hitters will carry this and finish on the flat, leaving them an opportunity to go for the green with their 2nd shot. The approach to the green is slightly down hill and the green slopes front to back.
Hole 14
Hole Name
From The Tee At stroke index one, it is the most demanding tee shot on the course,
From The Fairway which requires a right to left shaped shot as a large tree 130 yards off the tee guards the left side of the fairway.
On The Green 280-yards off the tee there is a bunker on the right side of the fairway. Longer hitters will be left with an inviting downhill shot to an undulating green, which is protected by bunkers both left and right. The most difficult green on the course to putt on, with two putts being a bonus.
Hole 15
Hole Name
From The Tee A friendly par 4 which needs a straight tee shot and accurate
From The Fairway
On The Green 2nd shot to a green that slopes left to right.
Hole 16
Hole Name
From The Tee A long straight par 4 which needs a well-placed tee shot,
From The Fairway
On The Green the approach shot to the green needs to be well judged as the green is narrow in depth and there is a depression in front of it.
Hole 17
Hole Name
From The Tee A blind tee shot on this 439-yard par 4 to a
From The Fairway fairway that slopes from left to right, which makes it difficult to find a level stance for your 2nd shot
On The Green The entrance to the green is narrow with bunkers left and right and the green slopes left to right and is difficult to read. A difficult penultimate hole.
Hole 18
Hole Name
From The Tee The clubhouse is in sight on this superb finishing hole
From The Fairway A downhill tee shot which needs to be landing on the right hand side a fairway that slopes from right to left.
On The Green The 2nd shot played with a short to medium iron from a sloping fairway over a pond onto a green that sits in a basin.
