From The Fairway
On The Green An incredibly sloping, tiered green is guarded by deep bunkers making this a challenging par 3. Once on the green it does not guarantee an easy two putt par.

Hole Name
From The Tee At 525 yards, this is the longest hole on the course with bunkers left and right which can catch your drive if you are not straight.
From The Fairway
On The Green Long hitters can reach the green in two with a blind shot over a large heather bank. A wide but narrow green calls for a perfectly executed approach shot.

From The Tee Beware of the dangers lurking on the left of this hole;
From The Fairway the better player has various choices of clubs off the tee, be sure to get your distance correct for the second shot.
On The Green This is a good opportunity to get your first birdie of the day if played strategically well.

From The Fairway where the drive needs to favour the left hand side of the fairway to give you the best chance of getting on in two.
On The Green Better players will still have a long iron in to a well guarded, long green. A par on this tough hole feels like a birdie.

From The Tee A good tee shot will leave you a short iron onto an elevated and cleverly guarded green.
From The Fairway
On The Green With the green being set above the fairway, it is difficult to judge the distance to the flag. Anything short will leave you a very tough bunker shot.

From The Tee A gently fading tee shot avoiding the strategically placed bunkers will leave you the chance of reaching this par 4 in two.
From The Fairway
On The Green Your uphill second shot to a two-tier green awaits you, so for an easy putt make sure you are on the right level.

On The Green Anything hit on the right-hand side of the green will be gathered towards the pin.

From The Tee With a long heather carry and bunkers on the right, this tee shot requires a slight draw.
From The Fairway The better player will be tempted to go for the green in two but needs to be aware of the well guarded left-hand side of the green. Cleverly positioned and half hidden greenside bunkers along with fairway humps on the right make the entrance to the green very narrow.

From The Tee A blind tee shot over a long heather carry will leave you with one of the toughest second shots on the course
From The Fairway From a downhill, left to right sloping fairway a wood or long iron will be needed to carry the second heather bank and reach the green at the top of the hill.
On The Green It is important to keep the ball left for your second shot as anything to the right is dangerous. A large flat green, could be your best par ever.

From The Tee Another strong par 3 which is always into the prevailing wind.
From The Fairway
On The Green The green is guarded by mounding on the left hand side. With heather and bunkers to carry off the tee and two hidden bunkers on the slope to the right, only a long, well struck, straight shot will find the relatively generous green.

From The Fairway A short par 4 with out of bounds down the left and two well placed fairway bunkers, a premium is once again on a good drive.
On The Green A deceptively long second shot to a green surrounded by humps and hollows then awaits you. The green is narrow but long and will reward the brave second shot.

From The Fairway With a sloping left to right fairway you need to favour the left side off the tee. Anything down the right will find the heather and trees.
On The Green With the green sloping from back to front, putting will be tricky on this hole.

From The Tee This beautiful par 3 is often regarded as the signature par 3 hole on the course and is well loved by Harry Colt fanatics.
From The Fairway
On The Green Guarded by seven bunkers, a mid iron is necessary to carry the ball on to a plateau green. There are dangers all around this hole with run offs to the right and a deceptively sloping green.

From The Fairway A blind tee shot to a downhill sloping fairway where a well-struck tee shot could carry your ball just short of the green. A
On The Green A fairway bunker awaits the tee shot to the right so being slightly left off the tee will avoid any trouble; however it will leave you a second shot over a bunker at the front left side of the green. Anything less than good distance control will leave you a challenging two putt.

From The Fairway A well positioned lake 218 yards from the tee and bunkers lining both sides of the fairway makes club selection very important.
On The Green A tricky second shot over the lake to a back to front sloping green. Anything missing right on this hole makes par very difficult.

From The Fairway A good drive down the left is required to accommodate the left to right sloping fairway and give you a view of the green.
On The Green The second shot offers you a variety of ways to play the hole, a running second shot will travel nicely on to the green and a well controlled high mid iron will settle nicely in to the heart of the green. Anything left for your second shot will run away and be lost, favouring the right side is a must.

From The Tee The tee shot at 18 is not for the faint-hearted and only favours the bravest of drives to carry the large heather-covered hill.
From The Fairway
On The Green Once successfully negotiated you are left with a partially blind shot to an elevated green. The deep bunkers are to be avoided if you wish to finish well.
