From The Tee A good strong par 4. Longer hitters can get over the hill but beware of a blind bunker lurking at the top of the hill.
From The Fairway The fairway narrows with trees down the left. There are fairway bunkers left and right before the road and the green is also guarded by two front bunkers.
From The Tee A par 3 that has changed for the better over the years. The hole now plays a little down hill but is guarded with a bunker at the front and right a lovely golf hole but tough.
From The Tee One of the most talked about holes at Carluke. The hole is guarded all around by different species of mature trees and a pot bunker on the left. Easier for the higher hitter of the ball. Take a 3 and run.
From The Fairway The tee shot is blind leading to a wide fairway with trees on the left and a bunker on the right.
On The Green Nevertheless let it rip if you want to get home in two. The green is guarded by a small burn at the front and a bunker on the right. If in doubt lay up
From The Tee This par 4 is one of the trickiest on the course and deserves respect.
From The Fairway
On The Green The safest way to play is to knock a short iron over the hill and down the middle. Then play up to the elevated green which has a bunker at the front. The longer hitters will be tempted to go for the green but trouble lurks everywhere.
From The Tee Again some big hitters will be tempted by the green but a large tree guards the left side.
From The Fairway
On The Green The sensible approach is keep the ball back from the tree and this leaves an easier shot in but beware of the bunker which guards the front of the green.
From The Tee The last par 3 on the course but nevertheless a tricky tee shot if you are on a score.
From The Fairway
On The Green Out of bounds all the way up the right and only feet from the green with 2 bunkers on the left hand side. Take your 3 or even a 4 and quickly move on.
From The Fairway Ideal tee shot is to the left side of the fairway as again out of bounds lurks all the way up the right hand side.
On The Green The second shot again needs one more club as it plays slightly uphill. Bunkers to the left and right of the green gather any misplaced shots. Take your 4 here and walk on.
