From The Tee “Shorthorn” is a picturesque, yet taxing, short hole.
The very narrow opening to the green is guarded by strategically placed bunkers nestling at the front. This makes what would otherwise be a straightforward hole a tricky one to judge.

From The Fairway The relatively short par 5 “Main Line” can be reached in two by the longer hitters. However, the hole is not as easy as it might first appear with mine shafts hugging both left and right edges of the fairway to catch errant tee shots.

From The Tee Polmear along with all the par 3’s is a demanding hole requiring a precise iron shot to find the putting surface. Playing downhill from the back tees it plays a club shorter than its yardage.

From The Fairway Polgavor is a beautifully scenic hole played along the cliff edge with a generous fairway flanked by 2 small bunkers on either side.

From The Tee A complex par 4 that requires a precise tee shot. Any shot straying to the right will be gathered up by the trees or finish blocked out behind them.

From The Tee Not a long hole in yardage but a demanding one still. Club selection is important to make sure you lay up short of the old quarry which is a hazard on this hole at 260 yards from the tee.

From The Tee A short but extremely challenging hole awaits you on the 11th.
A very narrow green is never easy to find and is surrounded by trouble on all sides. Bunkers heavily guard the left hand side and also a front right bunker will catch any weak shot to the right.

From The Fairway Playing back up the steepest hill on the course this hole plays well beyond it’s short yardage.
A fairway with a left to right camber pulls the ball to the right hand rough. A tee shot favouring the left hand side which avoids the copse of trees is favourable and will leave a flatter stance for the second shot.

From The Fairway The complexity of this hole lies initially with the gradient of the fairway. The line of the fairway bunkers in the distance is a good line to take and the ball will be drawn back towards the centre of the fairway by the contours. Any ball landing right of the fairway has little chance of staying in play.

From The Tee After a short walk from the 13th green taking you to the other side of train line, the shortest Par 4 on the course awaits.
A drive favouring the left of centre is the perfect target from the tee, as with the previous two holes the fairway slopes significantly from left to right.

From The Tee “Fir Copse” is the most taxing of the par 5’s on the course where distance and accuracy are of equal significance.
The tee shot itself pinches in at driving distance with a stone wall and hedge to the left which must be avoided at all costs.
