From The Tee The second hole is the first par 5 on the course and is reachable in two if you hit a good drive.
From The Fairway From the tee keep it to the left side of the fairway to avoid the bunker and large tree on the right. The green is hidden from sight on your second shot.
On The Green Once the ball goes over the small ridge in the fairway it slopes away from you and to the right. Take one less club and start the ball on the right hand side of the fairway to allow it to feed down to the green.
From The Tee From the fourth tee it is best to keep your tee shot to the left to avoid the out of bounds
From The Fairway down the right and give yourself a better shot at the green. The second shot can be fairly daunting with a gap
On The Green between two trees to hit through in order to reach the green. The green itself is fairly flat but there is a bunker back left that needs to be avoided.
From The Tee For the men the tee shot on this hole requires your drive to carry over two ponds.
From The Fairway The ladies have it slightly easier with just the second pond to carry. A perfect drive would be to the left of the fairway near the brow of the hill.
On The Green This will give you a view of the green for your second. Anything to the right of the fairway will leave you a blind shot. The two tiered green is guarded by ponds on both sides.
From The Tee The whole of the 7th hole slopes left to right so bear that in mind when taking aim.
From The Fairway Once again a black and white post guides you from the tee. The field on the left of the fairway from 100 yards in is out of bounds.
On The Green This is another hole where playing short of the green is the best option. Anything that lands on the green will roll right through the green due to the steep left to right slope.
From The Fairway The 9th hole features a large pond halfway down the fairway, don’t take too much club or it could be in play from the tee.
On The Green The boundary of the course lies to the right of this hole so any balls pushed out that way can find their way out of bounds. The front of the green slopes towards you so make sure you take enough club or it may end up rolling back off the green.
From The Tee The start of the second nine brings with it the hardest hole on the course,
From The Fairway a long par 4 at 438 yards (par 5 / 422 yard for ladies.) The raised two tiered green makes a small target for your approach. The difficulty varies depending on the pin placement.
On The Green It’s sometimes best to play this as a par 5 and if you make par it’s a bonus. If you choose to lay up for your second shot beware of the vale in front of the green. Any errant approach shots could be collected by the pond that lies short and left of the green.
From The Tee The tee shot on this par 4 is extremely tight and a 3 wood for accuracy might be a good option.
From The Fairway
On The Green Once your tee shot is safely in play the second shot is a straightforward mid iron to a flat green. Some shallow bunkers surround the green but pose little danger.
From The Fairway The 13th hole is a dog leg par 5 that features out of bounds on both sides of the fairway.
On The Green Aim your tee shot to the right of the fairway bunker on the left hand side of the fairway. This will leave you with a better line for your second shot around the corner. The out of bounds on the right continues all the way to the green and there is a bunker to the left of this green to be avoided.
From The Tee The bunker on the left of the fairway is in range from the tee and if you end up in
From The Fairway
On The Green there it will be a struggle to reach the green in two. Any approach shot that misses the green will likely end up in the park moat that surrounds the green leaving a difficult chip.
From The Tee The closing hole has out of bounds all the way down the right so favour the left from the tee.
From The Fairway A black and white post marks the ideal direction. This will have the additional advantage of giving you a better line to the sunken green. A driver will be too much club for many players as the fairway
On The Green runs out not far back from the black and white post. If in doubt with your approach shot, leave it slightly short and to the right of the green as any ball that lands here will trickle down to the green.
