Hole 1
Hole Name
From The Tee The opening hole, a 467-yard par 4, provides a panoramic view of the valley. The fairway offers a generous landing area from the tee; however, three large bunkers, one left, two right, await the longer hitters who try to be aggressive with their line.
From The Fairway
On The Green the approach is uphill to an elevated green and plays tougher when the pin is located on the back right behind a deep front bunker. The green has distinct tiers, so an accurate approach shot can mean the difference between a birdie and three-putt.
Hole 2
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway Both the left fairway bunker and the pond along the right side have encroached into the fairway, creating a risk/reward option from the tee for this 362-yard par 4.
On The Green Players must choose to lay up leaving a short-mid iron approach or negotiate a drive through the opening, thereby setting up a short pitch into the green.
Hole 3
Hole Name
From The Tee A straight away 568-yard par 5 provides a birdie opportunity early in the round. There is no tolerance for a right-handed slice with water that runs down the right side of the hole
From The Fairway The bunkers have been designed so that a tee shot must be short of the penalty area or the longest of hitters will have a narrow window to negotiate the bunkers up the left and right side of the fairway landing area.
On The Green A safe second shot is played to the middle of the fairway, leaving a short approach to a green guarded by a deep bunker and water tucked in on the right. The green is large and beware of a right pin location which may push balls into the water.
Hole 4
Hole Name
From The Tee An intimidating tee shot on the 225-yard par 3 for players hitting over water to the largest green on the course.
From The Fairway A back left pin will make this hole play substantially tougher than other holes.
On The Green Long and right are the misses here for players hitting long iron onto this green.
Hole 5
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway A straight shot down the middle of this 469-yard par 4 is a must with fairway bunkers positioned less than 30 yards apart.
On The Green The longest hitters can carry the left bunkers and have an approach to the green out of the rough. The best line for tee shots will be the right greenside bunker. Staying left on the approach shot will result in better opportunities at the green.
Hole 6
Hole Name
From The Tee Players will want to stay left of the bunker on the corner of the dogleg for this picturesque 490-yard par 4.
From The Fairway The longest hitters risk taking a straight line over the bunkers and being left with a short iron into the hole.
On The Green Players who can hit driver into the fairway will be able to attack the hole locations on the long green projected in front by deep bunkers.
Hole 7
Hole Name
From The Tee This 600-yard hole is the toughest par 5 on the course. Large bunkers line the left and right sides of the landing zone, so accuracy off the tee is a must.
From The Fairway Players that find the bunkers off the tee will be forced to take a lofted club to advance the ball back into the fairway.
On The Green The green sits horizontally and is extremely difficult with multiple hole locations.
Hole 8
Hole Name
From The Tee This tee complexes can play anywhere from 120-220 yards, based on players’ preference. Beautiful sand bunkers guard the green with a water feature on the right
From The Fairway The early summer and fall prevailing winds help keep the ball left of the water; however, it is deemed harder than it appears.
On The Green The green slopes back-to-front, par will be a good score for this par 3.
Hole 9
Hole Name
From The Tee The tee measures 470 yards to the green from the Championship tee on this par 4, while playing uphill and into a prevailing wind.
From The Fairway Bunkers have been pinched into the left side of the fairway, with an 8-foot-wide winding stream running down the right side of the hole. Players must find the fairway with their tee shot to have any chance at a birdie or par.
On The Green Hitting uphill into a green that is difficult to see means that players must be precise with their yardage. Approach shots missed to the right will find the stream, while bailing out left will find a tough greenside bunker.
Hole 10
Hole Name
From The Tee Accuracy is critical, aim for the cell phone tower with an iron or hybrid. Aggressive players may try to hit a draw off the right fairway bunkers, leaving a short pitch shot into the second shortest par 4 on the course.
From The Fairway Do not be fooled by the yardage, the 60-yard pitch shot is one of the hardest in golf, playing from a downhill lie to a green that runs away front-to-back.
On The Green A fun opening back nine hole that will challenge players’ mental games.
Hole 11
Hole Name
From The Tee A long par 5 that plays nearly 585 yards from the Championship tee. The left edge of the right fairway bunker is a good line, with a right-to-left sloped fairway. A well struck tee shot will leave some negotiating on the second shot to challenge the narrow green or lay up over the two large well-positioned bunkers, leaving a challenging third shot to an undulating green.
From The Fairway
On The Green A long par 5 that plays nearly 585 yards from the Championship tee. The left edge of the right fairway bunker is a good line, with a right-to-left sloped fairway. A well struck tee shot will leave some negotiating on the second shot to challenge the narrow green or lay up over the two large well-positioned bunkers, leaving a challenging third shot to an undulating green.
Hole 12
Hole Name
From The Tee A deceiving par 3 that only lies 165 yards from the Members tees but appears much longer than it really is with a 12% elevation change.
From The Fairway
On The Green Everything short of the hole is trouble, and with a narrow green it holds many mid-long irons.
Hole 13
Hole Name
From The Tee A daunting par 5 measuring 590 yards from the back tee. Staying left on the tee shot will provide a possible approach, while short and right is all trouble.
From The Fairway The longest hitters may choose to fly over the corner dogleg bunker, which could mean the difference between a long iron and fairway wood into the green. Attempts to reach this green in two shots that come up left or right will find new greenside bunkers from which birdie will be an unlikely score.
On The Green As players are walking down the fairway from the tee, they can look to their right to take in the impressive view of the 15th and 16th holes.
Hole 14
Hole Name
From The Tee The hard dogleg right on the shortest par 4 on the course can be deceiving, but do not be fooled by the deep bunkers surrounding the green.
From The Fairway The ideal play is a tee shot to the flat part of the fairway, leaving a short iron into a very tough, elevated green.
On The Green Anywhere on the green in two strokes will be a good shot. This hole forces players to choose an iron off the tee or take a direct line to the flag over trees from 330 yards away
Hole 15
Hole Name
From The Tee One of the harder par 3s on the course, playing over 220 yards slightly uphill from the tee.
From The Fairway With the least number of hazards, this hole usually causes players to miss to the left of the pin.
On The Green Making this hole even more difficult is that it is the narrowest green on the course. Par will be a good score here.
Hole 16
Hole Name
From The Tee A winding dogleg left finds two well-positioned newly renovated fairway bunkers in the landing area for this par 4. This hole requires a long tee shot that will be rewarded on this dogleg.
From The Fairway
On The Green t will require an accurate approach to a difficult tiered green. The new bunkering on the left side of the fairway can be carried by the longest of hitters.
Hole 17
Hole Name
From The Tee This hole offers a good view of the front nine from the tee box. This tee shot forces the player to aggressively attack a fairway bunker off the tee with their line.
From The Fairway Most players will stay short of the bunker, but the longer hitters will need to stay left or be faced with a tough bunker shot where advancing the ball to the fairway may be the only option.
On The Green The green is elevated, slanted, and narrow, requiring an accurate approach. Par is a solid score here for this 476-yard par 4.
Hole 18
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway This par 4, 470-yard hole provides an uphill walk to the fairway and will not be an easy finish to the back nine. This is another tee shot where the bunkers are firmly in play, pinched into the sides of the fairway and forcing players to aim down the middle.
On The Green Most players will be left with a long iron or hybrid into an elevated green, protected by a large, deep bunker in front with two other bunkers surrounding.
