From The Fairway The fairway bunkers are waiting to catch a bad drive so ensure a good strike. The green is long and fairly narrow, try and leave an uphill putt.

From The Tee From the tee, aim for the house ahead with the white gable end and stay away from the copse of trees on the right.
From The Fairway A good drive can get you to a position where you could reach the green in two but if laying up, keep to the right of the fairway, it is, after all, a par five.

From The Fairway
On The Green the green. Out of bounds on the right and too far left puts you twenty feet below the flag. Accuracy is everything and a nice one to par.

From The Fairway Your tee shot should be a little to the left as it will run left to right on the fairway.
On The Green The ditch crossing diagonally makes it a longer carry if you go right. But short or long, you will be left a blind shot to the green. If the ground is hard, you could get your second shot just over the hill and left, it should run onto the green. This is a tricky hole. (Tip - Look at the pin position as shown as you walk past the pond from the tee).

From The Tee Definitely the hardest hole on the course.
From The Fairway The two fairway bunkers are poised to catch the longer hitters from the tee. The fairway runs from right to left so the best line is towards the right hand bunker. A tip on your second shot - it's further than it looks.

From The Tee Nothing hidden on the tee shot, just go straight up the hill.
From The Fairway
On The Green Again like the fifth, the second shot is further than it looks due to the dip in the middle of the fairway which is well short of the green.

On The Green there's not much room before you go through. To get on the green it's carry all the way.

On The Green the green. Beware the steep downhill slope onto the putting surface which can kick your ball through the green in the summer.

From The Tee Aim your tee shot for the clubhouse and hit it well, uphill all the way.
From The Fairway No hidden hazards on the tee shot. There is a bunker on the left to capture very bad approach
On The Green shots and there is a bunker to the right hand edge of the green. A good hole to par to set you up with confidence for the back nine.
