Hole 1
Hole Name
From The Tee "A good drive is required on this hole, with trees to the right and out of bounds left.
From The Fairway Even after finding the fairway, two very strategic bunkers can still ruin your score.
On The Green Par is a good score on this hole.
Hole 2
Hole Name
From The Tee This is a great risk/reward hole that will give the longest hitters a go at the green off the tee. If you choose to try and hit this downhill 290 yard par-4 it’s all carry.
From The Fairway You must hit a small, well-bunkered target, fronted by a small stream. The smarter route is to lay up off the tee with a 210-220 yard tee shot leaving you a short wedge into the green.
On The Green Be mindful of a front hole location, as a shot that is slightly short can roll back off the steep incline into the water. Play to the middle of the green and have a go at birdie, or a guaranteed easy par
Hole 3
Hole Name
From The Tee This par-3 will award a good tee sheet and punish a poorly placed miss. If the pin is on the left, a creek that runs parallel with the hole comes into play.
From The Fairway A deep bunker will catch a short/left shot, but anything long or left of the bunker will end up in the hazard
On The Green If the pin is on the right, the elevated green could cause a difficult up/down opportunity. A tough, short-sided pitch onto the elevated green, which slopes away from the right side, would be required to get it close for a chance at par.
Hole 4
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway A drive down the left side of the fairway is a fantastic start! This leaves the fairway bunker and O-B right in your rearview mirror.
On The Green . An approach shot on the correct level of the green gives you a chance for birdie. Knock it in and move on to a difficult 5th
Hole 5
Hole Name
From The Tee A big drive down the left side of the fairway is key for the longest par-4 on the East Course. If you leak the drive to the right you will have to be creative with your second shot.
From The Fairway Your approach shot from the fairway to the green appears to be fairly simple; however missing the green on this hole can be very penal if you short side yourself.
On The Green I recommend playing to the fat of the green and two putting. Par is a good score here
Hole 6
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway . Any drive in the fairway will leave you a manageable second shot to a very big green. From here go ahead and two-putt for your easy birdie and head to the tough, par-3 7th.
On The Green A pretty benign par-5. You must protect from going too far left into the water. If you push it right you may still have a chance to reach the green in two
Hole 7
Hole Name
From The Tee Your tee ball on the appropriate tier may give you a nice birdie look, especially with the front pin and the tees up!" -
From The Fairway
On The Green Our 7th on the East Course is a tough par-3. Ignore the creek left, bunkers to both right and left, the O-B right, and then, no worries! This is one of my favorite green complexes on property.
Hole 8
Hole Name
From The Tee This is one of the tougher par-4’s on the East Course. Do not try to cut the corner from any tee box.
From The Fairway The smart play is a drive up the left side of the fairway.
On The Green Take the extra club on the second shot as it plays more uphill than you think and it will cover the false front. Your work is not done - lots of places to tuck a pin and a very fast green from back to front.
Hole 9
Hole Name
From The Tee "The home hole on the front nine is a straightforward par-4, but don’t let it lull you.
From The Fairway A nice drive down the center or left of the fairway is important for an approach shot to one of our most elevated greens on the East Course.
On The Green For the approach shot to this two-tiered green, distance control is very important as any chip shot around this green can prove to be highly difficult. Three sharp swings award you with a birdie on number nine.
Hole 10
Hole Name
From The Tee A downhill tee shot must be accurate, but not necessarily long, on this dogleg left par-4.
From The Fairway After finding the fairway you will hit back up the hill to an elevated green with deep bunkers guarding each side. Pull an extra club on the second shot as anything short will roll all the way back down the hill leaving a tough up and down.
On The Green Like most holes on the East Course, try and stay below the hole on your approach if possible. Anything past the hole will leave a treacherous downhill attempt at two-putting
Hole 11
Hole Name
From The Tee Your drive can cut the corner but always be cautious of the O-B driving range.
From The Fairway
On The Green A perfect drive sets up a 230 yard second shot, over a creek to a small, well-protected green. The wise player lays up at about 75 yards out. A two-tier green makes this a spectacular hole.
Hole 12
Hole Name
From The Tee A true test awaits you. The wind is typically in your face on this hole making one of the longest holes on the East even longer.
From The Fairway There is water down the entire right side, so you must play left center to have any chance at par.
On The Green You will have a mid- to long-iron into a small landing area if the pin is in the middle or back. Par is always a good score on this hole
Hole 13
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway One of the beautiful par threes on the East Course, number thirteen is a well-bunkered green calling for excellent distance control and pinpoint accuracy.
On The Green Play for the middle of the green and make two putts for par, if you sneak a birdie putt in on this hole you gain a stroke on the field
Hole 14
Hole Name
From The Tee Hole 14 is the straightest dogleg left you will ever play.
From The Fairway An accurate drive is critical on this hole
On The Green And even after a good drive, a very accurate iron shot is needed as the green has a lot of slope and is protected by both sand and grass bunkers.
Hole 15
Hole Name
From The Tee Maybe the best par-3 on the entire property. It requires you to hit your yardage, as the green is not very deep and is protected by a lake short and bunkers long.
From The Fairway A shot that clears the water and finds the back bunker is no bargain. Your bunker shot leaves you straight downhill on a slick green, with the water staring right back at you.
On The Green The green is no gimmie two-putt either! Be sure to play enough break and stay below the hole at all costs. And if that’s not enough, the hole is almost always into the wind. A par on this hole is a good score.
Hole 16
Hole Name
From The Tee You have a couple of options on this short par-4 that looks right at the clubhouse.
From The Fairway The longer hitters may want to give it a go with driver and get within a little flip wedge of the green, setting up a nice birdie opportunity.
On The Green Hitting driver does bring out of bounds right more into play, however. Otherwise, the safe play is to take a long iron off the tee and have a short iron into a good-size green.
Hole 17
Hole Name
From The Tee This par-4 has a beautiful view from the tee box. The long, narrow fairway turns slightly to the right and is lined with trees in the landing zone for drives
From The Fairway Longer hitters will gain an advantage with a tee shot placed down the right side of the fairway. The green is perched on top of a hill and protected by bunkers on both sides. It is sloped uphill from front to back,
On The Green , which is beneficial for shorter hitters trying to hold a long iron on the elevated green, but punishing to those trying to get up and down from behind the green. A birdie is a great score here, especially with the tough #18 coming up next.
Hole 18
Hole Name
From The Tee What a view to close out another wonderful day on the East Course!
From The Fairway While looking directly at our beautiful clubhouse, a precision drive into the center of the fairway is a must
On The Green Take the extra club to a middle or back pin but don’t go long. The front hole location makes for a feeder pin to close out your day with a birdie.
