From The Fairway A sharp dogleg left that cannot be cut in any way, lends itself to a long drive aimed directly at the bunkers beyond the fairway.
On The Green If the drive is poorly struck, large trees on the corner could stymie the approach to the green. A sprawling target encased by large mounding and bunkers give this green complex a good deal of challenge.

Hole Name
From The Tee The right side is bowl-like and is a much easier portion of the putting surface.
From The Fairway However, many bunkers and hollows penetrate this serpentine fairway to catch an ill-fated gamble, yet these features along with the mature trees on the right define "safe" landing zones for more conservative players.
On The Green For the long ball hitter, two shots could easily reach the green.

Hole Name
From The Tee If the wind is at your back, you may wish to cut the dogleg by attempting to carry the bunkers and catch the downslope for more distance.
From The Fairway The tee shot, framed majestically by mature trees, should be aimed slightly to the left of three bunkers guarding the right side of the fairway.
On The Green A sparkling lake guards the left side of a gently rolling green, surrounded by deep, eye-catching bunkers.

From The Tee This hole will play longer than the distance on the card, so don't hesitate to give it all you've got with whatever can be hit far and straight.
From The Fairway
On The Green The approach shot into the green is much more level, even rewarding a bump and run chip. A "Punch Bowl" green receives approach shots well, but makes for very delicate putts.

Hole Name
From The Tee "Do I try to carry the lake?" A conservatively placed lay-up leaves a reasonable short or mid iron.
From The Fairway
On The Green The weak hearted who skirt the left edge of the water will find the second shot needs to be lofted over large trees that impose the left side of the green. Word of caution: do not miss this green right or be faced with perhaps the most demanding chip shot on the course.

Hole Name
From The Tee The first landing area is embraced by huge trees on the right and a lake on the left. The water's edge is designed to allow the better player to gamble with an all water carry drive to a peninsula. The second shot can be approached two ways
From The Fairway Play conservatively in the fairway to the left, leaving a short approach into the green.
On The Green Split the uprights between the trees guarding both sides of the green to get home in two and have a chance at eagle. The green, which is shaped to give the player trying to reach in two an advantage, is generously contoured, requiring a great touch with the putter.

From The Tee This par three demands an accurate, lofted shot to land softly on the large putting surface.

From The Tee From an elevated tee, the drive must pierce its way through an opening of trees to perhaps the widest landing area on the course, although ominous bunkers on the right will get your attention.
From The Fairway The putting surface rolls and folds, creating havoc for those wishing for birdie.

From The Tee Surrounded by five bunkers and many grassy hollows, the tenth places a premium on accurate club selection.
From The Fairway Deceivingly more downhill than it appears, the hole plays shorter than the yardage suggests.

Hole Name
From The Tee The second landing area is wavelike with each wave safely catching your ball from trouble on both sides.
From The Fairway A big drive could carry the plateau fairway that is devoid of fairway bunkers and roll down into the valley beyond.
On The Green A well guarded long green makes for trouble if approaches are errant and three putts are part of your vocabulary.

From The Tee Two sets of tees provide a variety in angles and trajectories necessary to safely land on the bowl-shaping putting surface.

On The Green A very large and intimidating ravine separates the tees from the green.

From The Tee Downwind and relatively wide open, this slightly doglegging left par five may yield some birdies and make many a match change hands.
From The Fairway Bold and sprawling bunkering protects both landing areas to place premiums on accuracy.
On The Green The putting surface is "two greens" within one, utilizing many distinct areas for the ultimate in pin placement.

Hole Name
From The Tee A rolling green situated at an angle perpendicular to play provides a fitting ending to perhaps the most demanding par 4 at Crystal Tree.
From The Fairway A wide open and folding fairway awaits accurately placed tee shots. Bunkering on the left is in play for both the 14th and 13th fairways, while the pot bunkers right and beyond the landing area are lurking to grab the overachievers.
On The Green Although the prevailing wind is usually in your face, the green surface is partially protected by a "windbreak" of stately trees behind the green.

Hole Name
From The Tee However, don't get caught up in all of this beauty, because good golf shots must be executed to leave this hole happily.
From The Fairway
On The Green A pristine reflecting pond engulfs the green that is supported gracefully with a Wisconsin glacial boulder wall. Behind, beautifully sculpted bunkers and some of the oldest trees on site proved a truly spectacular setting for Crystal Tree's Picture hole.

From The Tee The landing area widens out drastically on the right but beware to the left. If the fairway is missed left, the tee shot will cascade down a steep slope and could end up in a retention pond that acts as a golf ball magnet.
From The Fairway Although the fairway wraps around and below the green to the right, you won't like the blind, uphill pitch with no green to work with.
On The Green A slight dogleg left, the shot into a long, diagonal type green must be lofted over grass and sand bunkers to safely land on the putting surface.

From The Tee
From The Fairway A mogul-like fairway awaits well placed tee shots with hollows and bunkers left and right.
On The Green A downhill approach shot must negotiate three deep, grassy hollows leading up to the green encased by an elongated bunker on the left and large trees, bunkers and steep slopes behind and right. The putting surface is two tiered with the green narrowing as you get closer to the rear.
