From The Tee No fewer than ten bunkers are brought into play on this 90 degree dogleg hole.
From The Fairway Seven of them are located right where you need to place your drive. Longer hitters sometimes cut the corner so as to set up a long second to the superbly sited green with the lake as a backdrop. The one thing you must do though is hit your drive far enough to get a view of the fairway.
From The Tee A great little par four, full of options. You can take the ultra cautious route and just poke a little iron off the tee.
From The Fairway However, that will leave you a longer second over the cavernous greenside bunker with the possibility of getting blocked out by the trees.
On The Green The smart and aggressive play is to drill a long iron or three wood at the poplar trees in the distance and get as close to the pond as you dare. This will give you an easy pitch in and a chance to grab a much needed birdie.
From The Tee The large poplar tree in the distance is a good aiming point but you need to be long and straight to hit the sloping fairway.
From The Fairway Three hidden bunkers protect anything that goes right in an attempt to cut the corner too much. Beware the wetlands area to the left of the fairway.
From The Tee With vast multiple tees, this hole can be anything from a wedge to a three iron.
From The Fairway Played over a picturesque lake with a brook to the left, this hole is very photogenic. However, you won't be admiring the vista if you come up short.
On The Green The temptation is to cut the corner from the tee but with three hidden bunkers and some evil clumps of gorse, this isn't always the best option.
From The Tee What can you say about the 26th hole? One of the finest risk and reward holes you will ever find.
From The Fairway If the pin is tucked anywhere near the left side you will need to hit close to the lake for a good chance of a birdie or even a par.
On The Green Bale out right and you could have a monster putt. From the back tees this hole is formidable where anything less than perfect will find a watery grave.
